KARTHIK, 20 Aug 2016thnk u so much bro mobile gets heat with limited usage also... moreDisable/delete all the system apps/bloatware apps that you aren't using. Apps like hangouts, s health and Google play newstand,I don't use them but they run in the background and heat up the phone so I deleted them. You can watch a youtube video on how to do that or just follow the method I used. If your phone is rooted,you can completely delete the system bloatware apps you arent using. An app called "system app safe remover" can do that. But if your phone isn't rooted,you can still use an app called "system app uninstaller". After you have deleted the unwanted system apps you don't use. download grenify from the play store. The grenify app hibernates the apps that you aren't using so they don't run in the background. I don't know if it's because of the hot summer but many samsung users complain about their phone getting hot during normal usage,if the phone doesn't go above 40 degrees Celsius, I won't be worried, it's normal. While deleting the system apps you arent using, take care not to delete any system app with the description "key module" good luck..

Have been using note 4 (indian version ) for the last 2 years. But recently I noticed that the battery drains very fast. It doesn't last even for 8 hours. What is the reason ? Has the battery got weak ? Or is there any other reason ? Can someone help? Please

Blackcat, 13 Aug 2016Note 4 is very good.the problem with it is after the upgrad... moreUpdate it. Marshmallow is really good. Better ram management, better battery management. And new s pen features. Its worth it. I didn't believe in updating my phone,but after this update,am a believer.

Its running perfectly and performance doesn't lag. I don't know how much it cost to buy a new one now but if it's about 300 dollars I would recommend it above any phone. But I advise you do your research about other phone companies and know if their is any new smartphone that offers new better features, but I don't think anyone will beat the s pen and multi window the note offers and still keep it cheap(that's if it's about 300 dollars) good luck

I rooted my note 4 and also deleted several bloatware and unwanted samsung apps that run in the background. I also installed grenify and it automatically hibernates unused apps that run in background. Watch some tutorial videos and read some articles to learn how to optimize your note 4 and use some useful battery features that marshmallow has. Hope this info will be helpful.

Better ram management, and almost double battery life management, new cool s pen features and overall it good in every way. Just watch some tutorials so you can learn how to activate the new features. Note 4 is a new phone with marshmallow installed.
