G4 has many problems:-
Bootloop issue
Wifi problem
Heating problem
Very bad battery
Unresponsive touchscreen etc

I just factory reset my Note 4 over the weekend to prep for the Marshmellow ota update (I'm using another phone in the mean time). I'm excited for the new stuff!

note4user, 09 May 2016hi guys... i am facing problem after may security update.. ... morecheck for index service in the app manager. if it's there, it would explain the battery drain and heating when idle. once the process is done, things should go back to normal.

2 days before i buy note 4 . now mobile is hot on the top portion after 30 min usage .temprature raising at 37.7 digre celcious . i am more afraid about that pls any one know the reason ?

I had the same issue with idea network and when I contact the customer service, the lady who answered my call, asked many questions such as whether my phone/sim/area support 4g .....and after a long conversation/arguments she advised me to turn on and off airplane mode,when I heard this I quit my 4g plans! I think that idea just changed 3g symbol to 4g but forgot to change the network speed.

Do u ... moreYes I had some issues with sd card, my phone keep restarts by itself and found that it is because of sd card, I don't know why, so I removed the card and problems solved after two days format sd card and put it back. Now it's fine for more than 4/5 months.

Hi Folks,
People who have issues after installing Marshmallow, Follow the steps below.
1. Backup Your phone.
2. Enter into Recovery Mode, Wipe the cache first and then click Factory reset in the recovery mode itself.
3. Go to Sammobile, Download the latest firmware with May security update.
4. Enter into Download Mode, Flash the downloaded firmware via ODIN tool
5. Restart the phone and restore the backup.
You could notice that the phone is back to normal running in marshmallow without any issues.
