Will there be a Wifi Only version in the future here @ Philipines? For Philippine buyers, the 3G Note 8 will cost P23,990 as stated. The P26,480 is the total 12 months intallment price. I just checked. No stocks in stores at the moment.

Nsonaso, 15 Apr 2013Please what is the price for the 16GB version in US DOLLARS? The US is only getting the wifi version for $400. This is in reaction to criticism from Tech reviews of the 3G version being "silly looking" to be used as a phone against the ear.
I personally don't mind having the phone function as a secondary phone while I keep my Note II as my main. The Note 8 having 3G data makes sense for navigation and not dependent on wifi connection while out of the house. Good for security apps like Cerberus to text command the Note 8 for obvious reasons.

how do i change theme to black? all is white from settings to notif panel... drains battery after half-day heavy usage, maybe due to brightness... pls help...

I got my note 8 at the Philippines launch event at the Mall Of Asia. I was told that the regular price would be P 26,480 once it hits the stores a week after. The promo price during the one-day event, however, was P 23,990. All buyers during the event also went home with a free flip-cover worth P 1,800. Though I initially found it too expensive for its features, Samsung extended the two hour promo for a guaranteed free phone (E1200T, Samsung Y, S Duos, Galaxy Grand, S3 mini, S3, Note II) by picking from a fish bowl to last the whole day instead of from only 10am-12nn. In the end, it turned out to be a great deal and worth the trek across town since I also walked home with a Free Samsung Y Reloaded. Not what I had wanted but still ok. Luvin' my note 8.0!

I'm hoping that the black variant comes out. I'm not hating the white one, but I'd prefer the charcoal black version.
