Derhunter23, 25 Jan 2013On another topic. I read that a 16GB is smoother than a 32G... moreI can't confirm that as I managed to find only the 16GB Titanium. There was a 32GB model one time but in white only.
I can only speculate that there is no reason for even the 64GB to be slower as they are all Solid State memory hardisks type.
Speaking of memory, there are news that some batches of SanDisk class 10 memory cards have mounting/non-reading issues. Some advice to get the newer manufactured batches from December 2012 onwards. So check before getting them.

Hmm, 25 Jan 2013Batteries are so cheap can't really see your point. There are some areas where you can't power to charge for days or your device draining your battery reserve faster. Or when travelling or in a vehicle, your device works harder getting and switching to different cell towers.
Even with multiple batteries, like what I did with the Note I, it was probably having that full charge and draining it to 1% is why I was only getting 4 hours after a few months from 8 hours when they were new with heavy use.
The original battery for the Note II cost $25 to $50. It really depends on the dealer. They aren't cheap. Supplies of them fluctuated for the Note I resulting in double pricing 6 months back. So stocking up while they are affordable AND doing the proper method of optimized charging saves you some hard-earned money. I can't really say we are contributing to lesser carbon foot-printing for replacing old batteries longer. Or the fact we lessen the toxic waste of these batteries. For that, I would be advicing you to stick to one battery.
Ther main point is, you are prolonging the battery's ability to hold as much power for every charging session. The method is not to waste money, and when you do need your battery to be relied on, they can hold optimal power. Be it may, in your case with buying a new battery every 6 months or keep as many now, the thing is, you would not be getting more what you are paying for.

helopilot, 25 Jan 2013I second your opinion about the Neighbor very diplomatic, ... moreHaha, I'm a person who would just like to get the most of the Note II. Diplomacy is the only way to effectively get facts and sensible ideas accross. That's how people start believing you. I research when I have questions on how to Note well. Some of the things I write are stuff I discover by fiddling with the device.
One topic that isn't covered much is security of your device. My younger brother was mugged at knife point and he lost his less than a week Note II. That got me thinking. How do you prevent that yet you can still maximize it? We can start that discussion right here. What is the best security app out there?
Another topic is making art with your Note. I've done some. It' small enough to be handy to be able to sketch anywhere.
Thank you for appreciating my posts. It's only been 2 weeks.

There are available power timers for that by estimating and setting when the charge reaches 80%. Yeah, it's a hassle for the sake of prolonging the battery capacity. This is where the extra battery comes in handy or probably a portable power bank.
