S10+ has a MicroSD slot and a 3.5mm jack, while the Note10 doesn't. S10+ has a larger battery (4100 vs 3500 mAh), larger display (6.4 vs 6.3 inches).
Only go for Note10 if you want a newer CPU (Exynos 9825 vs 9280), UFS 3.0 (vs 2.1 on S10+), S-Pen and 25 W charging (vs 15 W on S10+).
Also, take care to know that there is a 6 GB version of S10+ (128/6 version), the other two are 128/8 and 512/8, and the last 1024/12 version. Note10 only comes in 256/8 version.

Now it won't be getting updates for android and one ui but for security you can use an anti virus for more safety. The note 10 and plus are phones with a unique design and looks quite like the s23 ultra. The battery is much better I do think so, but the difference is low. Also you get a s-pen with the note phone. Also the chances are higher to find a 5G model on the note 10 and plus.

Hello there. I wanna ask if it is possible to change my S10+ back cover from glass to ceramic as I've heard it is stronger than glass. Also, is there any good screen protector that covers the screen edges, gives a matte and privacy-like screen view and supports fingerprint scanners? Thanks

Battery life is amazing (seriously, over 12 - up to 16 - hours browsing non-stop and screen constantly on with Firefox projected, with only Quora as the major battery drainer - Quora wastes it really quickly; everything else uses so little battery it's unreal). I got it this way by placing absolutely every app, except those that I need to keep from getting killed and/or running in background like JamesDSP or jetAudio+, into restricted battery mode (default is optimized) which kills them aggressively and keeps them from turning themselves on if they are in background (usually, 2 apps opened after sending them to background kills them, freeing up RAM for more effective multitasking for those apps you didn't put into restricted battery mode). Rest are left at optimized. Only a select few are configured to run always in background (unrestricted battery mode - they will ask for this) and they use it to run scheduled tasks (such as reminders app, Radarbot for warning about speed cameras or syncing my files with cloud every night, for which I pay Google One 3 or so USD per month for 200 GB of storage) - they don't run in background at all until their schedule comes, they do the tasks, and exit themselves.
There is no throttling or heat-up, it's blazingly fast and responsive no matter what I throw at it. Only things that heat it up a little bit are long-to-execute scripts (NUKED that disables analytics/tracking/ads/etc via Termux), frequent consecutive restarts, fast charging and Quora - it never once got heated up more than slightly warm.
Using LineageOS 20 on it, rooted. Multitasking is good, can run quite a few apps with 8 GB of RAM.
128 GB internal doesn't bother me. I use 256 GB MicroSD for storage and music files. Installed apps (128 of them listed, excluding the "Show system apps" option) use 28 GB of internal storage, plenty of room left for many more apps if I need them.
Based on my experience, Exynos 9820 is a beast, lightning quick yet still cool and power-efficient - I didn't even need to limit max frequency for the three core clusters with SmartPack Kernel Manager at all, the cores are allowed to run at max frequency if they so desire, and the phone remains at room temperature (barring, as I said above, things like Quora or fast charging).

Snapdragon's bootloader is not unlockable and there is no community support in ways of rooting and custom ROMs. Plus, using LSPosed and Physical Button Master Control you can reprogram the Bixby button (called Menu in LineageOS) to control music, open apps and so on (I have it set so that one tap chooses next song, double tap previous, while tap and hold opens the music player) depending on the conditions you set (ie. the action can only be performed with screen on, screen on and off, device unlocked and so on). Use 4.2.1 to configure buttons, reboot to check if the reprogram is successful, then update to 4.3 and export the reprogrammed settings (4.3 force-closes if choosing an external app but can export and import settings, while 4.2.1 cannot export and import).
Make sure to set a sufficient delay if using one button for multiple functions, so that the system waits and listens to keypresses before executing the actions, otherwise it stops listening before you tap the button enough times. I found that a delay of 200 ms is sufficient for it to distinguish between a single tap, double-tap and tap-and-hold while quick enough that it responds quickly. You can also add vibration or other notifications on successful keypress so you know the actions executed.

Rooting allows you to reprogram the Bixby button too.

I wouldn't call it downhill, I would call downhill their process fabrication node that have had worse yield nodes in the latest years for trying to rush before time, but now they are recovering.
