What a shame no android 13, considering that one ui 5.0 sorts out the lag and stutter on samsung phones. I guess its an end of the best galaxy era.

SM-G970U1 received the October 2022 security update recently. I wonder how long they'll go on for.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2022I charge my s10e twice to 85% everyday but im ok with that.... moreI replaced the battery in a Samsung authorized service center where they perform leak testing after changing the battery. Tested it on my own by swimming many times underwater and infact it's still waterproof.

AnonD-1056488, 29 Aug 2022Music lovers.. although I prefer wired headphones but must ... moreI prefer routing the cable from my phone to my ears and having INFINITE earphone battery life, since, duh, no battery to worry about. Nor radiation exposure to the brain. Nor disposable planned-obsolescence battery expiration when the charge cycles are worn out. For triple figures cost, no less (if you want sound quality). My low-to-mid double figures earphones trounce that b.s. All day. Literally. You can keep a phone on charge in the bag if you are careful to protect the charging port and never run out of battery day-to-day. So, can do 10+ hour shifts with music uninterrupted and get stuck at your girlfriends without remembering to charge? Still have music on the way home. With w4nktooth you don't get that so easily.
Quality, reliability, is king.
IMHO, anyone who has changed their culture from respect for durability and functionality to over-respecting convenience is somewhat brainwashed into it, frankly.
Samsung should keep making this phone. 256GB, Snapdragon, remove the forced-fingerprint biometric collection (since everyone has to press the power button, VERY shady design and don't tell me you KNOW the fingerprint isn't being harvested - physical security is king - no data collection possible = no data collection, anything else is just irrational gambling with one's freedom and privacy).

blacktooth, 01 Sep 2022recently updated my S10e to android 12 One UI 4.0 and this ... moreTry a full hard reset of the phone if you haven't already. If still not working, then try to re-flash the ROM perhaps?
Also, "bricked" means "reduced a device to nothing more than a lump of heavy material, i.e. a brick" meaning when it will no longer turn on or boot, and CANNOT BE FIXED VIA SOFTWARE. NOT when just ONE functionality (bluetooth) is borked.
Bricked needs to be a separate term because the situation is very specific and dire when that happens. See?
Literacy going backwards is not a symptom of phones making people smarter, is it? Think about it.
Anyway, in English tech slang, 'BORKED' is the word you are looking for. Which IIRC, means 'Generally broken, probably recoverable with perhaps much or a little effort (subjective)'. Good luck.
