S20+ has better camera hardware, better ISP and better software. A phone two years old can't possibly compete with today's phones, at least in flagship territory.

Trust me, as more OEMs make phones with high refresh rate displays, more content will support them. I have a laptop with a 120 Hz display, and the difference with a normal 60 Hz display is heaven and earth.

Got Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G G986B/DS variant, following is my review, may be helpful
for you,
Pros:
No lagging issue so far
Battery lasts a day with moderate Usage
Good cellular network aggressiveness
Cons:
Camera is not even closer to S9 variant (In terms of Clarity), need to work on camera of S20+
Bulkier to carry in pocket
No 3.5mm but have C-type earphone in box
No Bixby dedicated key
No pulse-oxy meter sensor
eSIM is not supported by any carrier in India (for Samsung phones)

Excited for this new Samsung however, was totally disappointed. Nothing new at all & if you're buying it for 5g,just forget it as doesn't work compared to my previous Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5g. This is sheer waste of money & to top it, in UAE, Samsung doesn't have any refund policy. I'm stuck with it & am looking for a buyer now as Samsung just gave lame excuses. My advise, please don't waste your money on this phone, at least in UAE or Middle East.

The 64mp secondary camera is the GW2 sensor.
It's better than the main Camera of Realme X50 pro.

Samsung has AKG tuned earphones which are ten times better in quality.
Not all usb type C earphones are alike just like not all earphones with 3.5mm jack are the same

Samsung is not pricing their product right, hence losing the market share. They are matching the S20 price with iphone 11, in reality after 1 year S20 value goes down. Everyone cribs iPhone for their price, but they treat all the handsets equally for the next 5 years. All the eligible iphones get the OS upgrade on the same day for the next 4 to 5 years... But Samsung after one year they dont provide fast and frequent updates. I owned S9 and I experienced it.... iPhone is valued better for some reaosn, which Samsung has to inspire and learn something out of it...

If Samsung wants a fortune for the S20 series, better they provide 2 years of warranty, 4 years of monthly security update and 4 major os updates.... They manufacture almost every components by themselves but charging handset at premium rate is just ridiculous....Just matching the price with iPhone is not justified... If you want to be a market leader then prove yourself.... After 6 months, the price will drop by 20 to 30%.....

Cancelled my Ultra pre-order to get the S20+, I have no use for the camera, and the Ultra is heavy at the top which will get tiresome to hold for extended periods.

In 2017 when S8 series was out, the price was so high I decided to buy a cow with the money. It has given birth twice and I used the proceeds from milk to buy S9+ last year. This time instead of buying S20 I will buy twenty goats and sell them on December festivals
