DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. THE ENTIRE S20 LINE OF PHONES HAVE FLIMSY SCREENS THAT WILL BREAK FROM THE TINIEST DROP.
I had this phone for 2 weeks and just finished transferring everything over from my old phone. I had JUST paid this phone off and I dropped it from 2 feet on my desk. This phone is AWFUL about staying still on a surface. It will slide without a case. I had a case AND screen protector on my phone and the actual LCD behind the glass was destroyed beyond repair. The glass was pristine and untouched but the phone was completely unusable. I bought this phone at a discount of $250 brand new. I WOULDN'T PAY $100 or $50 for this phone after hearing what it costs to repair it. $200 for the screen. I couldn't believe it. Samsung has become like Apple. "Throw the device away because it costs the same amount to repair it." Stay far far away from the S20 line. The S23 line is built much much better but comes at an eyewatering $600 price tag.

    In the first year i had protection charge ( 85% )
    In the past year nov 2023 - > present , i deactivated the protection and charge it with fast charge or ultra fast charge but the battery health degraded.
    In general what I noticed after 2-2.5 years battery degrades and doesn`t matter if you charge with 10W or 15W.

      Hello. Is it a smaller difference for the phone's battery on long term whether I charge it with 10,5 W or 15 W? The data sheet here on Gsmarena says it can "pick" 25 W at max via wire.
      The new powerbank I'm about to buy can output 5V/2,4 A via USB-A and 5V/3A via USB-C.
      (A Varta 10000 mAh type 57976 one, without wireless).

        The only browser that i tested and it never did that to me is Brave. I keep leaving youtube opened in background on brave and i use other apps and browsers and it never refreshes the tab.
        And i have the 6gb ram version of the phone, which is prety low nowadays.

          Does it face green line issues?
          It doesnt have the dynamic AMOLED display so it shouldnt but does anyone know?

                ive been looking for ways to keep apps "locked" in ram. If i find anything i'll let you know.

                    Anyone else gets annoyed when switching between apps and chrome reloads the current tab? I only have 4 apps open. My chrome only has like 3 tabs. Miss older phones that have less ram but better memory management. Or maybe one ui is heavier than touchwiz? Also noticed how play store apps are getting bigger that if you still use phones with 8, 16, 32 gb storage, you will be full with less than 5 apps installed! Even google apps are very large now!

The 32 mp 3:4 is like a zoomed out version but seems same clarity. For video it is fhd 30 which is clearer for me than the higher uhd 60 which for me is dark and blurry. :/

So far now that the weather has become cooler due to rains, it has improved a bit but not like before the update. Hopefully it gets fixed.

                                Ever since the last update, the touch screen has been unreliable for me. Inconsistent when typing and when scrolling. I am not sure if it is also due to the heat. Very hot weather here now. Using spigen tempered. The battery life has been bad ever since. This is the Exynos version.

Maaaaybe software updates but that's rare. Its possible its your imagination though, given the fact that newer and better phone camers come every year.
                                  Its a simillar scenario to how we used to enjoy watching videos on 480p and now 720p is considered dirt quality.

                                      Anonymous, 21 Apr 2024Stuck at 4%, won't charge.Assuming it's not the port maybe the battery level indicator is broken? If it seems to not discharge either after using it (and it's stuck at 4%) then that's it. In that case the phone should charge properly but not indicate it. Maybe a reboot could fix it and indicate thge correct percentage momenterally but the problem will most likely persist.
