When I got this phone, the performance was disappointing. Battery was draining fast and the phone heats up just by updating my apps on Play Store. Not to mention when using any of those apps. But after a few weeks of using it, the issues just disappears. I can get a full day use and my ears don't get burned anymore when answering calls. The camera and display quality is amazing for this price.

frank, 04 Jan 2021I heard about its high heating is this true? can i fix it? ... moreIt does get a little warm especially when gaming but its not too bad. I think it's because the processor is very ineffeciant which also means this phone has very poor battery life.

I found it lasted for about 4 hour screen on time whereas the 5g version offers 6-7 hours worth. In the end i returned it as it just wasn't enough for me which was a shame as all the other features are really great.

This seems like a good value phone. Big battery, flagship specs but a mid-tier price. Many people are looking for a new phone with the best value for money, and I thing Samsung has delivered. The specifications on this phone rival other companies, and may even prevent users switching to iPhone. The triple camera system is very good, although it would have been perfectly okay if it was a duel camera. The 120Hz display will make more expensive phones (iPhones mainly) look bad with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. I think Samsung will continue to release more of the Fan Edition models to give users a reason to stay with Samsung and Android OS. If you are considering this phone, I would highly recommend it.

After update to Android 11 it's suggested to clean up ur phone and then start using.. battery drain and heat problem almost fixed.. I m using currently.over all value for money

Just bought mint color. [Exynos]
I see its good after oneui-3 update. Only complain is % of batter drain per hour seems high.
heating issue is very less compare to s20+.
I mean for medium users have to charge twice a day. Heavy users stay away.
Less used users most welcome.
Camera is average (I see vivo v20 easily beat in photo quality not video)
Audio is good
display is good but disappoint in sunlight (very poor)

It's been a day but still same thing, the phone beats up very much with slight usage and battery also drains in half day. I really like the phone but these are major issues that cannot be ignored. I am going to return it tomorrow.. donno whether to try another device same model or just go for one plus 8t.

I don't know what the problem could be with your S20 FE. It might need a couple of charge cycles. As for mine, after the fourth full charge since updating to Android 11, standby battery time is still pretty great. It's currently at 80% with last full charge being 19hrs ago. Even when I used the phone more after the third full charge since updating to Android 11, battery endurance was still good. At its current state, it's a phone I would use as a daily driver without worrying about battery life. I just hope Samsung don't screw it up in the future.
