I got the s20 fe 4g version and it has overheating issues whilst doing mundane tasks like watching videos on youtube. Especially beside the cameras. The battery is also draining too fast. Even when using 60 hz instead of 120hz setting. My previous poco f1 was way better than this.

It is unfortunate that the non Chinese Andorid manufacturers have been almost wiped out- atleast from the India market, due to which options are within Samsung only given that i am iOS averse. I have better expectations from the 2021 Exynos models, and will look to change soon if Samsung does not fix it.
BTW i did a SOT test yesterday- got about 4.5 hrs, with basic wifi, low screen brightness, medium power saving, 60 hz, 2G network, use only when required types. Let us see if this improves.

F1ddy, 27 Oct 2020Read back through comments and find my battery saving tipsI believe battery endurance lies more in software optimization. I have the OnePlus 7T Pro and though it has a smaller battery, its battery endurance is much better than my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. I know the OnePlus 7T Pro has had numerous software updates over time that have improved battery endurance. With the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE being new, I'll give them time to fix it. Probably a lesson to wait a while for a smartphone to settle before buying.

F1ddy, 27 Oct 2020Read back through comments and find my battery saving tipsLooked at your comments. They are basic Samsung battery saving tips 101. I have been using them on all my Samsungs, including the Note 9 in the past and this one too. Yet it does not make any difference. Screen on time is terrible for S20FE. Or maybe it was just great in Note 9.

did they cap the charging speed to 15W with the new update? i am having some issue with the 25w charging. in phone statues, it shows the battery supports 9V 2.77A but when i try to charge it with charger from A71, it says FAST CHARGING & not SUPER FAST CHARGING. also there is no option of super fast charging in device care>battery>charging. there is only fast charging and fast wireless charging. i believe there was super fast charging there before the update. are they trying to hide the heating issue with this change to avoid the NOTE 7 kind of problem?

                        Hi,
Massive battery drain issues on the S20 FE in India. Two updates released so far have not made a difference to it. Heating issues present also when on GPS. Any solutions so far?

I got a s20 fe exynos and I have the same problems like most of you, overheating and battery drain, im from Chile and I did not recive any update, the phone have like 36-39 Celcius without load, the user that got an update, what is the number of it and how is your temperature now??

My advice is if u see Exynos on any phone then don't even bother checking its reviews COZ EXYNOS IS GARBAGE and Samsung is cheating people by selling this garbage at the price of its Snapdragon varients only available in the US
