s35ym., 06 Mar 2024Point out any current smartphone that has xenon flash befor... morelol.so those 2 phones have better photography because of xenon flash? yeah sure, why not...and you don't need n8 and 808 just for xenon. lumia 1020 have xenon flash, and pretty much all dedicated cameras have xenon flash just in case you're not notice... again answer my question how long does it took to take single photo with those 2 phones? let alone optical zooming.night mode and stuff. sure xenon flash help a lot when you take photo in low light situation, but how does those red eyes looking?

like i already said i'm not into cinematography so i don't have dedicated camera, however i tried some dedicated camera before whether analog or digital, and the result much better than smartphones otherwise there won't be any dedicated camera left in this world, everyone just using their smartphone already, it's the best right? however for people who know reality, dedicated camera pretty much less convenience, it's big and it's pricey again there's compromise have to be accepted, if you really want the result, the best result go with dedicated camera, if you want convenience just using smartphones in most cases are good enough but don't expect it to give the best result at everything...but hey, keep living in your delusional world that 1 smartphone is the best for everything.

i rather spend my money on pc or audio or gaming stuff... no smartphones in this world also able to those things perfectly hence i need dedicated device for that, but hey why even bother right? people should've just using smartphone for every task, it's already the best.....

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2024because everyone have different preferences, some people li... moreYes... ok... I know there is plenty of devices and preferences on the world but my preference is Galaxy S20 FE with good sharpness at 4k/30 ultra wide angle 😅🤦
    I don't need 8k/30 or 4k/60...
Maybe I'll ask the question in a different way...
How can I get video sharpness at a ultra wide angle recording at 4k/30 same as Galaxy S21 FE has, having a Galaxy S20 FE?
Is it possible? Yes or no, briefly and to the point please without proposing me to buy 10s of other models for testing and sale, because it'd be waste of my time.
I will only add that I would go straight to the higher shelf and reach for Galaxy S23 and higher, but I have a limited budget, firstly, and secondly, I have read a lot of positives about Galaxy S20 FE that it was last real Samsungs flag ship with solid processor and micro sd slot etc. so that's why I'd like to buy this particular model. If Galaxys S21 FE processor and battery life wouldn't be rated such low by other users I'd probably go for it straight away...

If you are a professional photographer, keep those talents within yourself and stop blindly bashing the old phones.

s35ym., 03 Mar 2024There is no constitution law in any country that forces any... moredo you have something wrong with your brain? i'm pretty sure i didn't force everyone to have dedicated device for something. read my post again. i'm suggesting if someone really into camera, then they should've buy dedicated camera if they could otherwise there are some compromises need to be accepted. you can't have a single device like smartphone to have perfected camera, technically it's not possible. i'm not saying the result it's utter crap, it's decent, sometimes it's good but you can't have everything. hence the reasons why pretty much all smartphones using AI post processing image nowadays because they can't achieve that result only by hardware prowess

and stop spreading lies like 808 and n8 like the best camera ever. sure, by today standard smartphone photography the photo still looks great.but how long did it take to take single photo? by the time you press those shutter button, capturing the image and then being save? let alone the time it took to correct the white balance. you're not the only one in this world to have those phones, i also have 808 and lumia 1020,the white balance on those 1020 even worse than 808. you can't just simply point and shoot and in matter of mili second have the greatest image in the world. there are effort and time to take a single photo. like i said preference, if people don't mind that.go ahead, but if speed it's your priority, just simply point and shoot, then there are other options. and then there's other stuff like video, do you wanna make statement 808 able to record 4k30fps? again there are some compromise to be made. you can't have one device multi function at the best of everything. it's not possible, not even in current technology

            - you have twice the battery power (if you use your phone for internet, calls, videos, gps etc. you can run out of juice at the end of the day and you'll be unable to take photos)
            - your camera will probably have bigger zoom and flash
            - it's easier to compose photos using a camera (even compact one) with faster AF and two-stage shutter button
            - you'll have to splash a lot of money on a decent camera phone to match the quality of a $500 camera

The photo clarity of my old Nokia N8 and 808 pureview cannot be overtook by any smartphone or any other costly camera currently or even in the future also. But sadly buying a new battery is not possible now. So I am just keep running them for alarm only (always in the flight mode).

You cannot force anyone by saying that they must use digital cameras to take photos as if all smartphone camera sucks in clarity.

Please stop spreading your intention that smartphone cameras are fit for nothing other than video calls.

The usage of any elec device varies with each and every person. Ok?.

Jacke, 29 Feb 2024I'm not a cinematographer either, but for example when... morebecause everyone have different preferences, some people like natural look, some like other thing, some like shooting in manual mode, some just wanna point and shoot, some prefer raw uncompressed non processing photo/video, some prefer AI post processing photo/video, some more focus on photo, some on video, 8k30fps 4k60fps 4k120fps and a bunch of stuff. so you can't really figuring all that out just from other people inputs especially online. so yeah, if you're in comfortable situation where you able to easily buy it cheap to test and then selling it,or you could go to your local shop and then testing the phone yourself, that's just much wiser i guess

in my opinion if people really into camera, they should have dedicated camera, combine it with their phone, so if you okay with the photo on your phone, buy camcorder for the video, if youre okay with the video on your phone buy dslr for the photo. at the end of the day if you really into it, then you're gonna do some post processing yourself, editing yourself, maybe print the photo or put the video in whatever, and you can't expect one device like phone camera to magically have a great raw result, let alone for the archive, it might look great now on the phone/laptop screen but 5 years later who knows

                    Has anyone updated?

                    Is this fixed?

I prefer to find out before buying from someone who had or has this phone and avoid unnecessary transactions.
Samsung corrected sharpness in S21 FE model, but it had a hot Snapdragon 888 and a shorter battery life, so from the point of view of these attributes S20 FE seems to be a better option for those for whom lower sharpness of video is not an obstacle...
