    i read that S20+ had a common hardware issue with screen showing green lines, does this one have that problem too? and is this device a good recommendation for a ~$300 open box price (either the Exynos or SPD)? is the battery and 12MP camera really inferior compared to newer S21s ?

        Upgraded my device to One UI 5.1 from One UI 5.0 yesterday. After upgrading, I reset my device and now Jio 5G is not working in my device, it was working before and it is working in other devices at the same location.

But I couldn't find significant improvement in battery life. But wasted lot of time in optimizing stuff. Will try your feedback and will give a shot to use the device just as it is.

                I have the 5G version but I always have it set to 2G. Only if I'm leaving home and I'm using mobile data I'll switch it to 5G.
                This way I get better voice calls quality, better reception and more battery life.
                Also, if you aren't playing heavy duty 3D games, turn on battery saving mode all the time .

I think these optimization app & other tweeks are a gimmick to make the customer fool. I was once who does all tweeks, optimization etc. later on I realised those aren't good for nothing. I don't even kill any apps that run background unless it isn't behaving properly. try using your as it comes out of the box. install those app you need. use it how an average non tech guy use it. you win!

Then you flooded the comments section that YOU made 5g work in Android 12. You just followed a simple tutorial posted by others. Now you are spamming the comments section with comments in which you tell everyone how to keep the phone on 5g mode only using 3rd party apps. You just follow simple tutorial posted by others and claim it as YOUR method.

                        Note that most users cannot change the network mode in the bearer section (in the access point settings area) each time. If your method is followed, the network mode gets changed to 4G VoLTE mode when call is made or received. The phone sometimes stays in the 4G network and does not change to 5G. So no use. Ok?.

                        My method forces the phone to be in 5G mode till the user changes the network mode and thats why I have clearly mentioned that voice will not work. You do not have any qualities to abuse me because you are also using 3rd party apps and do not have heart to accept it.

                            Anonymous, 15 Mar 2023How much sot were you getting on Android 12?I was getting about 5 hours SOT and about 14 hours in total. now SOT reached 8+ hours and 20+ hours. I know someone who is getting only about 5 hours SOT even after 5.1 update. don't know why. since this is my secondary, the above said guy play around with my phone. maybe I'm having a better device. this is my second device. 1st one replaced due to battery drain issue. right now when I'm typing this my phone crossed 8 hours 32 minutes and left 9 hours 20 minutes juice left. I started at 4 in the morning after full charge.

I use Jio. when I make a call or I receive calls it go back to 4G. once the call get disconnected it roll back to 5G, earlier it used to stay in 4G mode itself. after I set APN barrier in "NR", 5G roll back issue got solved.
