The specs for the US model are wrong.
The 5G bands include the N77/78 bands.

ALPHABOY17, 27 Sep 2022Sad to hear that. It seems my 5 yo s8 still has more batter... moreMy S22 has better battery life than my ancient S8 had. That was many year years ago, though. I don't care what the battery life is, as long as I can go all day on the phone. And I am able to do that with my S22. But it is certainly a decrease in battery life from what my S21 had.
But rumor is that the S23 will have a 200mAh increase in its battery. And with the newer SoC and TSCM manufacturing, there should be a big increase in battery life. As long as Samsung still has generous trade-ins, I will trade in my S22 for an S23. Since I prefer to be on a yearly upgrade cycle now.
My S22 has been the best Galaxy S phone I have owned. And I have been using Galaxy S phones since the Galaxy S6. Although the battery life is where Samsung dropped the ball with the S22. But, for me, I'm still able to use it all day. So I am still fine with it. I just need to charge it some if I am going to be using it for eighteen or twenty hours. Instead of my normal fourteen hours of use each day. But that is extremely rare for me.

I've been using the Spigen NeoFlex Solid Screen Protectors with my S22 since launch. I change it every couple of months. The fingerprint reader is super fast. It reads just as well and as quickly with the screen protector on as it does without a screen protector. It reads the fingerprint in a fraction of a split second. And is very accurate.

This is a great phone.
- battery life is great....people complaining of battery have not discovered the power saver mode which gives a big boost without compromise on the performance. With power saver..it last 2 days with moderate use...1.5 days with heavy use.
- good pictures...3 cameras to choose from
- very handy .. use with one hand
- fast / responsy 120hz display
- 5G compatible
- eSim compatible
The biggest issue I find is the fingerprint sensor...especially with the screen protector on. It was so bad that I had to go back to using PIN. (Since I didn't wanna take off the protector). Hope Samsung does something about it or provides a compatible screen protector for this phone which works with FP sensor.

I've jumped in on this phone my first real samsung flagship of sorts I've had plenty of se and fe,s etc 256gb 8gb black to go with my s8 tablet only time will tell if I like it 🤔 + and ultra out of my price range s8 tablet spectacular 👍

Hi all. I was considering S22 but am put off by its battery life. Is there a premium Samsung alternative with better battery and comparable size (up to 6.5" max)? Thanks in advance

It feels not so premium, at all.
The camera was... well, not as good as the very old Note 4, if that one got software update. It is not "bad", but not a flagship priced worthy.
The battery is 3500, even testing it shows around 3590 MAX mAh. Oh, and it DRAINS FAST.
I had to buy it to save in future using eSim, for work. It is just too much money for what you get, and the better battery one (plus) is way too much more money for so little difference.

This is the most uncomfortable phone to hold that i've ever had the displeasure of using
No thanks to the flat back panel and screen, the phone is now sharp as a knife around the edges where the glass meets the aluminium frame and holding it without a case feels like it's cutting into your hand
The S21 was so much better and felt nice in your hand, but this flat monstrosity just hurts to even look at
Samsung really dropped the ball this time. It's pretty obvious why they did this, to save money......and copy Apple again....The less curves there are the more money they save which is why they ditched the curved screen on the S21
Even tho they tried making this phone completely flat, it seems they forgot about the aluminium frame, something that Apple flattened since the 12. Weird Samsung

I've seen that SD version lasts much longer, but still, not decent enough. I hope the degradation will be lower, or in 2 years it is good as trash...

no i got the exynos version, nowadays there is not a really big difference between SD and Exynos, they are very similar.
i am really loving the phone, but today i got frustrated, was on an heavy use with gps, google maps, social media videos etc, with a full charge at 9am, around 5pm the phone was almost dead. Not cool samsung, you don´t pay a flagship price for this. I was traveling so i could not charge it, i had to put on saving mode and just using my phone for calls. This is one of the reasons Iphone is killing samsung phones.
