I've jumped in on this phone my first real samsung flagship of sorts I've had plenty of se and fe,s etc 256gb 8gb black to go with my s8 tablet only time will tell if I like it 🤔 + and ultra out of my price range s8 tablet spectacular 👍

Hi all. I was considering S22 but am put off by its battery life. Is there a premium Samsung alternative with better battery and comparable size (up to 6.5" max)? Thanks in advance

It feels not so premium, at all.
The camera was... well, not as good as the very old Note 4, if that one got software update. It is not "bad", but not a flagship priced worthy.
The battery is 3500, even testing it shows around 3590 MAX mAh. Oh, and it DRAINS FAST.
I had to buy it to save in future using eSim, for work. It is just too much money for what you get, and the better battery one (plus) is way too much more money for so little difference.

This is the most uncomfortable phone to hold that i've ever had the displeasure of using
No thanks to the flat back panel and screen, the phone is now sharp as a knife around the edges where the glass meets the aluminium frame and holding it without a case feels like it's cutting into your hand
The S21 was so much better and felt nice in your hand, but this flat monstrosity just hurts to even look at
Samsung really dropped the ball this time. It's pretty obvious why they did this, to save money......and copy Apple again....The less curves there are the more money they save which is why they ditched the curved screen on the S21
Even tho they tried making this phone completely flat, it seems they forgot about the aluminium frame, something that Apple flattened since the 12. Weird Samsung

I've seen that SD version lasts much longer, but still, not decent enough. I hope the degradation will be lower, or in 2 years it is good as trash...

no i got the exynos version, nowadays there is not a really big difference between SD and Exynos, they are very similar.
i am really loving the phone, but today i got frustrated, was on an heavy use with gps, google maps, social media videos etc, with a full charge at 9am, around 5pm the phone was almost dead. Not cool samsung, you don´t pay a flagship price for this. I was traveling so i could not charge it, i had to put on saving mode and just using my phone for calls. This is one of the reasons Iphone is killing samsung phones.

i was undecided between s21fe and s22 because of price and screen size, i guess 6.4 is the sweet spot for screen size, on the other hand the compact side of the s22 was really attractive. In the end i got the s22,the screen is truly amazing and the form factor ( almost no bezels) makes it the best compact phone of the moment. Do i miss a bigger screen ? well sometimes, but i would not change, 90% of my tasks this is the perfect size. besides this, super fast and unique UI. Battery is ok, but not terrible as many people say, sometimes on heavy use i have to charge in the end of the day, but a light use i got till the end of the day and it charges so quick, almost full charge in less than one hour. Of course would be nice to see samsung to listen to their costumers for the s23, bigger batteries is the way to go. Overall amazing product, really feels premium and everytime i turn on the phone i got impressed by the amazing screen and fluidity .

The battery is a real catastrophy. Bought it brand new 2 weeks ago. I need to charge it 2 times a day. Otherwise all good. I will sell it asap.

Even when I had them in my phones I never needed to use them. They just ended up being a waste of money for me. But I had them in my phones, just in case. But were not needed. Since I've had cloud storage for many, many years now.

The S22 can hit higher peak nits with HDR than the S10 could. Plus the S22 has a 120Hz screen. I could never go back to a 60hz screen. I don't remember if this S10 had a 120hz or 60hz screen. But if it did have a 120hz screen, it needed to drop down to a lower resolution to use it anyway. So the extra screen resolution is wasted.
Plus I've always hated the curved screens. I was so glad when they went back to flat screens, on the base Galaxy S phones.
