i am not going to pay 850 euros for a 1080p screen and 3700mah battery. there are mid range phones with same specs but just the third of its price. they 600 euros just because it has snapdragon 8 gen 1 or exynos 2200.

As much as i like because it is more compact. The Mid range display and ram doesn t fit . Chinese brands make this specs with less than 500$.
And the worst thing is when people say that you don t need more . First of you don t know what i need , probably some people who had s-series from the begining exected the best display quality for that time and now only the Ultra version has. And second why would ever give you best quality display that previos seriers ( S20) had and replace it with a mid range one And not forget about ram , yes sure the cpu is a beast , but 8gb ram is now for mid range smarthphone let is face it.
With this specs the phone should be named S22 FE and the S22 should have 12gb ram 1nd 1440p screen.

I'll take a lower price at 8GB than a higher price with 12GB. I like the $200 lower prices that Samsung has had when I got the S21 and S22. I hope that stays the case next year when I get an S23. And not go back to the $200 higher prices that the S20 and earlier phones had.

If this phone has 12GB RAM and 4000+ mAH battery, I would have bought it. 8GB RAM for flagship is bad 2022.

Test, 25 Mar 2022Is battery life an issue ?Not for me. I can easily go all day on my 256GB S22 SD unlocked (on Verizon wireless). My worst day has been 2.5 hours of Android Auto wireless. A couple of hours of Galaxy Buds+ listening, several hours of screen time plus a half hour video conference call. And I always have a Galaxy Watch4, Active, or fit 2 connected by Bluetooth. And wifi and cellular is always on. And it's always connected to 4G or 5G.
This is my 31st day using my S22. The battery life is certainly less than my S21 was. But, as long as I can still go all day without needing to charge, then I am happy. And after thirty one days of use, I have yet to charge my phone away from home.

Best compact phone but battery is joke.. couldn't last for a day for me as im using google maps lot for works..i rather saved my $$$ buy used 200$ Galaxy s10

I`ve had this phone for soon to be 4 days, really love the design and comfortness but idk about the battery. Spent only 16 mins on social media and it drained 8% while also started to heat up

I looked precisely on you test photos in 100% crop and also on GsmArena test patterns and clearly there are some problems with camera and/or post processing. Maybe your phone is defective?
Pictures have awful sharpening halos, corners are really blurry, especially lower right and in overall it experiences image softness. Additionally complicated patterns like foliage are rendered in awful way - probably 9 to 1 binning is calculated in wrong way. I planned to change to this phone from my old but gold (color ;-) S9 but comparing the photos my S9 is clearly superior (i'm comparing only main camera because there is no other one in s9).
Maybe it's fixable in firmware or they put to big sensor and too small lenses in front of it.
I will wait and look if other reviews show similar thing.
