Had the S22 Ultra, sold it for a profit and bought one of these for a reasonable price. I prefer smaller phones and this really hits the spot size-wise. The build is so much better than the S21. Aesthetically Samsung have really nailed it. However, and this is a big one, the battery life is dire. I know it will improve slightly once the battery 'learns' but it would need to make big changes for it to be useable as a daily phone. I'm talking 100-80% within a 30 minute period. To really use this you'd need to have performance limited and the refresh rate set to standard....making it pointless! Looks like I'll be getting the S22+ Sigh. Was looking forward to a small phone again.

Overheat problem annoying me, year 2022 bought a phone came with a body warmer function. Hahaha...kidding me! Flagship phone not a cheaper phone, i want return it -_-
Anyone also same with me having overheat problem? Any solutions?

I ranted a whole lot about Xiaomi 11T pro's camera only to find later that it isn't as bad as I thought, beating this, and thus I bought it.

Not sure why your phone got hot. Is it an Exynos? I have a snapdragon and my phone has only been a little warm after taking pictures for around ten minutes.

But I only slow charge my cell phones. If I fast charged them then maybe I would see a difference. After two years I would see a small difference though.
I used to upgrade my Galaxy S phones every two years. But now I switched to one year upgrade cycles. Which is why I traded in my S21 for my S22. And my S22 was easily worth the upgrade over my S21. I like just about everything better on my S22 than my S21. Plus with the excellent trade in deals and credits, I didn't have to pay much for both an S22 and a Galaxy Watch4.

Just updated to version 12 last week and it running better than ever. I cannot justify an update to the s22. Perhaps s23 next year.

I think if u trade in next year or even sell it then it's a good deal because the battery capacity will diminish a lot after a year and then it will become junk. I got some credits from Samsung but still had to pay around $600 cad, so I decided to return it.

And picture taking is better and faster on my S22. Plus the aspect ratio is better on the S22. And I can easily use my S22 with one hand. While, with my S21, I needed to shift it in my hand to reach the upper left portion of the screen.
And best of all the price. For only $325 out of pocket. After taxes, credits, rebates, and my S21 trade in, I got a 256GB S22 unlocked and a 44mm Galaxy Watch4. It was a really sweet deal. considering both of those have a total retail of $1130.

S21 is better than s22 so you have to hold your s21 phone untill the next samsung flagship in 2023
