Heck, the modern SoC alone is worth it. I have no desire to use a phone with a two or three-year-old SoC.

You could not pay me to use an S20. Even if you gave it to me for free and also paid me, I would rather pay the money I spent for my S22. And in 2023 I will upgrade to an S23, trading in my S22. Just like I traded in my S21 toward my S22.

They don't cost much money after trade in. I spend more money, each month, for lunch at work than it costs me for a Galaxy S phone after trade in. And then, on top of that, Samsung gives you credits to spend toward other things. I used mine for a Galaxy Watch 4. Although I have not set it up yet. Since I still plan to use my Galaxy Watch Active, for my daily use watch.

You have such amazing phones, and you are only able to use it for just 1 year. What a waste. S21 S22 S20 basically all are same phones, same design from the front with centre hole punch, processor is not an issue for any of the phones even for S20 in 2022 it runs like new. Software experience is the same. Honestly Samsung must love people like you who somehow can still convince themselves to buy the newest flagship phones every year. It's the same phones but in your head you think they are "upgrade", very sad.

The only thing that is better on the S20 is the screen resolution. Which is low on the list for most people. Since most people never ran content at the highest resolution. Otherwise, battery life would have been even worse. And that is another thing, the battery life of the S20 was terrible when compared to the S21 and S22.

                    Are you still in 2000? I stop reading when you compare the S21 to a mid range phone.
                    If you want a phone with memory card and 3.5mm áudio Jack, you have those phones but dont expect to have a better performance, camera, experience, fresh rate, display ...

To be honest, changing my S20 for an S21 was a really big mistake....no memory card, no 3.5mm jack, worst screen definition, flat screen, plastic back...etc. Like going from a flagship to a mid range phone. And i knew that before buying, silly me. No way i will get S22, phone getting worse and worse...looking for another brand.
                      Funny how Samsung always says that preorders are over the moon, then after a few months they have to admit that sells are worse than previous model...All the money is made with the A serie.

Since the S22+ is basically the same as the S22. Except for the higher peak nit screen in the S22+. So a review for the S22+ would be valid for the S22. But they will still need the battery endurance test.

                        Although they need to have an endurance test, with each model, for both an Exynos and Qualcomm version.

Plus it is uncomfortable to hold without a case since they seem to be moving toward how iPhones look. And those phones have always been notoriously uncomfortable to hold, without being in a case.

                          But I have been using cell phones since 1994. And I have never used a cell phone for more than a few minutes without a case. I have always installed a case on my cellphones, a few minutes after taking them out of their box. So how a cell phone feels, without a case on, is not anything I consider when purchasing a cell phone.

I want to be able to use a phone with one hand. And have the phone fit in my front pocket. And also not be very thick. The Ultra can do none of those things.

                            Plus, who the heck pays the retail price out of pocket for a cell phone? After trade-ins and other incentives/rebates, the cost is much less than even half the retail price. This is nothing new.

                            I've had my S22 for five days now. I am enjoying it. It is definitely an improvement over my S21. And my S21 was an improvement over my S10. And my S10 was an improvement over my S8. And my S8 was an improvement over my S6.

                            Every Galaxy S phone I have purchased has been an improvement over the previous Galaxy S phone I have owned. The S22 is no exception. The Galaxy S22 is easily the best Galaxy S phone I have owned

                              this phone exists so people can buy S22 ultra . no one is going to buy this fhd crap at this price. even iphone are cheaper and economical to buy than this BS.

                                        For those wondering if you can use the 50mp camera in Pro Mode, you can't. Just came from a Samsung store and I'm full disappointed.
