Even with 2.5 hours of wireless Android Auto use, 2.5 hours of screen time, several hours of Bluetooth music listening, plus connected by BT to my galaxy watch active or my Galaxy fit 2, and on 5G most of the day, and I still make it all day with my S21. 13 hours later, after my battery starts at 100%, and I'm around a 30% battery level. For my 13 month old S21.

So I hope there are not battery issues with my S22. Because if I can't easily go all day with my S22, like I can with my S21, I will have issues. That means I would need to start putting it on a wireless charger at some point during the day. Which would suck.

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2022As much i love compact phones i can t go back to a downgrad... moreWhy is it slow with 8GB of RAM? My S21 with 8GB of RAM on Android 12 is just as fast as it was on Android 11. I expect my S22 to be even faster. Since it has a faster SoC.

As much i love compact phones i can t go back to a downgraded display. And it also has only 8gb ram. What are they thiking ? My old phone has 8gb ram and with android 12 it is very slow.
Only people who want to flex will buy S22 or S21. Less features big prices.

So I've been using the small Galaxy S22 since Thursday and it hasn't made it past 11pm once. 4.5 hours SoT yesterday, just over 5 hours today. Not Pixel 4 bad but still not encouraging. Wifi.. 5g will kill it pass ,, next ……..2023

With m... moreI too got good battery for 2 years..... means....it usually go through a full day with some juice left in it....but now i am not getting that much but still not a terrible battery life I'm getting right now.....It is getting me a whole day but I have to charge it at night....My phone is 2.5 years old....hoping that this battery will work normally for 6 months to a year more before relacing it.....Using the charger that came within the box 25w......it is not that fast like 65w or even 120w right now which other brands are giving.....So, 25w is not affecting battery life drastically.

But the S22 has a newer, faster, more efficient SoC.

And after two years the battery life is only slightly reduced. But I only slow charge my cell phones. Fast charging is terrible for the battery.

So I have no problem with them for my personal content. Again, I've used cloud storage for many, many years with no issues.

I also have my important content backed up at home. But if the content is really important, you need an off site location. Which is what the cloud storage gives you. So my important data is stored in a minimum of three locations. With at least one being in the cloud. And some of my content being in five locations, with three locations in the cloud.

ALPHABOY17, 14 Feb 2022A12/A22 is low end A series, try A72 or A52S, these two are... moreThey still use a lower, 7 series, SoC. So they are much slower than what the Galaxy S series has. They also have slower storage. And they don't even have USB 3.0.

I want my cell phone to be faster, not slower. It's why I used to upgrade my Galaxy S phone every two years. But now I switched to a one year upgrade cycle with the S22. And my plan is to stay with a one year upgrade cycle from now on.
