This phone's battery is gonna die within 4 hours of use. Instead of the endless race for paper-thin phones whose battery deteriorate to non-usability in 2 years, you could invest in making them a little thicker and add juice?
The end user is not in your interests though, otherwise you wouldn't provide half the world a junk inefficient processor. 🤡

It's been 2 years so i don't remember the exact price of the S20 but it was around $1000 give or take
S21 came at around $900 but the price has dropped now and with a deal they're offering i can get it as low as $750 currently
Idk if the leak about the price increase is true but i don't see any reason to trade as there's no real improvements going from S21 to 22. Maybe if you had the S10 it would be a good change but even then you lose the 1440p display

Otherwise, I will never see the back of my phone anyway, except for when I first install a SIM card. After that it goes in a case. And stays there until I get another phone.

I've been using Galaxy S phones since the S6. I have never had any of them overheat.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2022Besides the obvious chip, is there anything new on this pho... moreThe last pricing rumor I heard this week was that the S22 would be the same launch price as the S21 launch price. And the S21 launch price had dropped by $200 compared to the S20 launch price.

If that is true I will definitely be trading in my S21 for an S22.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2022I already made the choice when downgrade s21 lunch . I ha... moreI hated the iPhone I tried for a work phone. I hated it so much I started using my personal Galaxy S phone for work. Much much better than the iphone I used.

As far as build quality I don't see much difference. I've known people that had major issues with iphones over the last few years and also people that had major issues with Galaxy S phones. I've known people that hated the iphone so much they went back to android. But I've also known people who hated android so much that they went back to apple.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2022Who care about launched price. S20 is cheaper at the moment... moreBecause that is comparing Apples to Apples. Either way though, the S21 is easily better than the S20. I would rather pay more for an S21 than pay less for an S20 any day. The S21 has a faster SoC, much better battery life, higher nit screen etc.

But I'll most likely be getting an S22 later this month anyway. So I'm hoping the new pricing rumors are true. If so I should be able to get a 256GB S22 for no more than $250 out of pocket. After my S21 trade in.

Why did Samsung stop making upgrades to their flagship phone? I started with the S3 and I still have an S20. I didn't want the S21 because it was actually a downgrade from what I had. I was hoping to upgrade to the S22 but it doesn't sound like it is any better. I may look into the iPhone 13. I've never had an iPhone but Samsung is leaving me no choice.

Besides the obvious chip, is there anything new on this phone compared to the S21 at all? Only difference i see is a smaller screen and a much higher price. Why? What for? I can get the S21 for $750 and this phone will likely cost around $1,000 while offering no improvements. What a ripoff

There are 2 things I would like to say here.

                              1. What the f**k are you thinking SAMSUNG. Plastic back on a 800$ phone!? If you want to go cheap put gorilla glass 3.

                              2. I`m using Samsung flagship phones since 2016. Since then all the generation/exynos/ have the same problem - overheating! I hope the new processor will do better in this area.

If I see those 2 things improve I`m baying one. If not, I`m baying Pixel 6 or iPhone 13(maybe 12 because it`s a bit cheaper ).
