Smaller battery, no sd slot and 3.5mm jack, nothing different or innovative from S21 either!

      flagship that has it all.

I recently purchased an A72 . My budget would have allowed me to purchase a flagship model , as i have in the past , but no one makes one with the features I demand . A minimum IP67 rating , headphone jack , expandable memory , solid battery life and a decent camera .
With the A72 , I have all of the features I want and I have saved several hundred dollars . I am also very happy with the performance of the phone.
If you absolutely must have the latest fashion accessory / staus symbol , go for it , knock yourself out . Personally , I would rather put the money I save towards craft beer and motorcycles.

What time are pre-orders supposed to open tomorrow?

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2022Can’t wait to preorder this beauty tomorrow Yes. I just hope the new price rumors are true where it will be the same prices and the S21 line.

charger, yes, i do understand people have a bunch of them.

btw is it a good decision to go for S22 base version if i already have s20 fe 5g?

Anonymous, 08 Feb 20223700mah is 3700mah not matter how u look at it, this is har... moreWith the more efficient SoC in the S22, the 3700mAh battery should be similar to the 4000MAh battery in the S21.

I don't care what the size of the battery is as long as I can go all day with it. With the S21 I can go all day.

PT7, 05 Feb 2022Why are you talking only for the screen witch is also bette... moreHow can you say that a FHD screen is better than a QHD screen ? I had both in my hands , S21 screen looks cheaper and you can feel that if you had S-series before. Low resolution is bad when you watch something with great graphichs and close to your face.
And what S21 has better than S20 ? The cpu ? You buy a new smartphone just for a new CPU? But that can compensate with 4gb more ram . 8gb ram other manufecters use for smartphone that cost less than 300$.
3-4 gb ram, amd HD Ready are for low end devices
6-8gb ram and FHD screen are made for mid range smartphone.
12 gb ram and QHD are made for flagship
16-18gb and QHD are for extreme

3700mah is 3700mah not matter how u look at it, this is hardly worth 850 eur start price.. a step backwards imo should have atleast 4200mah or more.. crazy ppl want this low battery this price ?

Who would buy an A32 with 64 gb storage, no sd card and headphone jack? Nobody
With flagships, they have plenty of ways to trick people into buying them tho

Unfortunately nothing like that happens in Europe
Over here, you end up having to pay more for the weaker Exynos version of the phones because of import and taxes so we pretty get the short end of the stick
iPhones are becoming more appealing now because when people see the similar price a lot will end up going for the iPhone

Between my previous Galaxy S cell phones, my Samsung tablets, and free accessories, I have around twenty Samsung chargers. I have no need for anymore.

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2022Lowered the price by $200 in what country exactly? Definite... moreIn the U.S. the S21 was $200 lower, at launch, than the S20 was, at launch. I think each model was like that. The 21+ and S21 Ultra were also $200 lower than their S20 counterparts, here in the U.S.

It was a great deal here in the US with a trade in. Samsung gave me $550 trade in for my two-year-old S10. So my 256GB S21 only cost me $300 out of pocket. Plus, Samsung gave me over $200 in credits to buy accessories from the Samsung store. And, on top of all that, we also got a free pair of Galaxy Buds+, here in the U.S. And also four months free of YouTube Premium.

The S21 was a superb deal here in the US with the generous trade in values and all the bonus stuff thrown in.

I am hoping they do something similar for the S22 this year in the U.S.

also if mid range can provide these features of ex storage and a headphone jack

why can't a flagship offer everything??

this is just a gimmick so that people pay extra for chargers, Bluetooth headsets and eventually buy a higher storage variant.
