If it was the hardware, they would have realised it during or before manufacturing ffs, Samsung ain't idiots. And it would have been the same on the previous generation as well.

As a Samsung Note user, I am a bit disappointed. There are a lot of impressive lenses but the pictures are no better than a note 9. The note 9 was slimmer, lighter making the S23 look like a brick in comparison. The battery life is the impressive thing. Otherwise the screen appears a little larger.

Although I'm still waiting for my four Samsung SmartTag+ devices to arrive. I got a great deal from Samsung, a couple of weeks ago, where each Tag+ only cost me $17.50 each. Instead of the normal $40 each.

UHD? Even the ultra doesn't have a UHD screen.
UHD is at least 3840 x 2160. The S23 Ultra has a 3088 x 1440 screen.
Which is not an Ultra HD resolution.

I had a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and no one will believe, it has one of the highest PPI's of over 800, display is awesome, but because it is Sony and has IPS LCD, Samsung Amoled screens knocks the high PPI screen out the park.... The Gray Machine, 15 Mar 2023 What is it with these fucking hole-punch selfi camera scre... moreYou have to understand that you have some screen space with the tiny punch hole, than without. Otherwise it would be wasted space on bezel. Once you understand that, it's easier to accept the punch hole.
