                  Samsung phones also support HLG which isn't a Samsung HDR format (BBC and NHK developed HDR for TV broadcasting) so why do their phones have that and not just HDR10+?

                    Only difference between s22+ and s23+ is the battary ,and front camera?

                      still use my s10 5g. Better design and much easier to hold than the s21-s23 from standard to ultra model because the newer samsung galaxy model is more onto boxy sharp edge that make it felt chunky...

                        Now if Samsung had announced Dolby Vision with their new TVs at Ces, then I might expect Dolby Vision to be on their phones. But that was not the case.

They sold much fewer than expected. And supposedly Apple is rethinking that strategy of having so many models.

                            Samsung = 0 Bugs 😂

                              Decent enough. Only few of the smartphones in the industry that tick the boxes of has complete triple camera, is waterproof, high refresh rate, big screen, big battery, is sub 200g and have good connectivity. I'll put this on my purchase list.

                                    s23 & s23+ should be a compact and larger phone with the same specifications.
                                    And the S23 ultra should have a compact version with the same specs.
                                    And that's what Apple does, so users have the option to buy phones with the same specifications in different sizes.
                                    S23+ 390ppi, s22+ 393ppi.
                                    s23+ 1 OIS, S22+ 2 OIS.
                                    S23+ 10w qi, s22+ 15w qi.

                                      Stinger, 18 Jan 2023Indeed, any resolution over 1080p is useless, consume more ... moreYou do realize that a higher resolution doesn't mean anything nowadays, the only power cost is with the GPU having to draw (render) more pixels, which is only a small chunk of power draw nowadays.
