elephant in the room, 13 Feb 2023why is everyone ignoring the elephant in the room here?
Th... moreMost new phones weighs around 250g~(this phone 234g). Small laptops (14-inch) - 1.5 to 2kg. Medium (16-inch) - 2 to 2.5kg.
So you are telling us that 250g == 1500g(smallest laptops. Most popular in the world 15.6 inch and it weighs around 2000-2500g) ?
I think you need gym membership if 250grams is too heavy for you. By the way no one is forcing you to buy big phone. Buy smaller one s23. It weighs 168g. Maybe you would not fall on the ground while holding such heavy device.

why is everyone ignoring the elephant in the room here?
The phone is HEAVY! It would seem most people don't mind carrying a laptop in their pants pockets now. I do, mind. Any phone more than 200g is immediately ruled out. Each new phone that came out has gotten really bloated and heavy. We cram everything into our phone, things we want but we don't need.

Mswahili , 12 Feb 2023Those are things to be expected in any flagship Yes absolutely. But "expected" and reality sometimes are two different things. This time they nailed it. There is no doubt that s23 ultra will be big phone of the 2023. Amazing perfomance, camera is fantastic, quick OS updates and phone support for 5 years, note looking body, amazing 2k screen. This is fantastic combination

After 1 week of using this awesome device I can tell only one thing this phone is beast!
Perfomance is absolutely flawless. Zero lag anywhere. You can multitask, play whatever you want It can handle everything without frame drops.
Battery is next level. 2k, 120hz, auto brightness, 4G. I can easily get 2 days usage with 8-9 SOT. You can charge and play, use your phone easily without device being to hot. It never gets hot or very warm(atleast for me).
Camera is super impressive. All of them. Night shots, videos, selfies are super good. I've never seen such good selfies on samsung phones. They are natural and good looking. Video stabilisation is something else. You can walk down the stairs while filming and your video would be completly still.(looking forward for software updates. Maybe it will improve even more)
Auto brightness works very good, speakers are loud and clear. There are plenty small changes from previous gen. I think mobile data quality is a little bit better (big plus for me).
512/12 variant and upgraded from s21+. Highly recommend this phone!

Watching Flossy Carter's Spigen cases videos, the S23 Ultra looks like an absolute winner thanks to the Ultra Hybrid OneTap Ring case.
Flossy prefers the green S23 Ultra and I think it looks best with the Tough Armor case the way my red iPhone SE 2022 looks with a red one. But after seeing Thao Huynh's S23U review, I prefer it in white. The OneTap Ring is a clear case and I like that on with white rears.
A clear OneTap Ring with a 10,000 mAh MagSafe power pack is the perfect combination. If say you can get 2-days with the S23 Ultra by itself, you can extend it by nearly 4 days with that magnetic battery pack. Not many Android smartphones are compatible to Apple's MagSafe battery pack.
It's pricey. Will spend another $120 as the case and battery pack (non-Apple) are about $60 each. But think of the travel convenience and possible 6-days of battery life it brings without needing an outlet. Try to get a cheap 10,000 mAh battery pack. The Apple one is only half the capacity and overpriced ($94 on Amazon).
S23 Ultra is the best smartphone Samsung has ever made and you can make it even better.

SozoLedzep, 12 Feb 2023Hope you're aware Samsung technically makes Apple... yes samsung makes displays for apple now. in the past, they supplied their soc until iphone 5s. let alone 6 series, they also fabricate but designed by apple. since the 7 series announced, samsung no longer relies on fabricating apple soc.
