Battery life may have reduced abit, but not as much as 2018 flagships such as Note 9 and iPhone Xs. All hardware including the screen are functioning as new, gaming and camera performance are maintained. Gone through 5 updates but still as fast, old phone with newest software.

All I see from my experience: Samsung phone screens with pink/green lines/hue and bloating battery, and iPhones with poor battery life and problems getting the phone to charge.

People spend a lot of time researching and reading reviews etc. - and sometimes testing out - before spending this much on a phone... it's so pointless (and petty) when people automatically just bash the phones ("Scamdung" 🤦‍♂️). Especially when they don't know the main things a person actually wants the phone for - and how much disposable income they have.

Very snappy navigation, but a get a bit warm when browsing internet. Snappy loading times and snappy screen, really love the screen, colours are snappy too. Gave this phone to my wife because I am construction worker and I can damage it by accident. Wife said she feels the phone is decent and snappy.

FlagshipsSuck, 04 Feb 2023Listen to how you sound, like a child throwing a fit. You t... moreLeaving the fact all you've written is a rant, it's mostly false and you're definetly a Samsung hater and a blind Xiaomi lover. Don't you realize the Xiaomi 13 Pro starts with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage?

Absolutely humilliating in 2023 for a phone that will be way above 1.000€ so your comment is kind of ridiculous as you criticize Sansung's 8+256 while Xiaomi is even worse with 8+128 but at the same time you praise Xiaomi lol.

Anyways, paying that much for a Xiaomi is like throwing your money into a garbage container. The Samsung S23 Ultra is superior in everything except for the fast charge, its software is one of the best of Android while Miui (also known as Memeui) is the worst by far. Plus things like USB 2.0 or 1080p selfie in 2023 are an absolute joke for any costumer. It's not a Redmi 9A, this one is 10-15 times more expensive, depending on the version.

Also compare their years of updates, improvements and future price. Compare how both look, their materials, building quality... the Samsung is far ahead no matter if you like it or not, or how hard you try to bash the S23 Ultra is WAAAAY ahead of any Xiaomi can even dream. This is an undeniable fact. Xiaomi doesn't know how to make flagship phones.

I'm not a China hater. There is one chinese phone that stands a chance and that's the Vivo X90 Pro+ because now that's really premium. Also Sony and iPhone are also good contenders. But Xiaomi is a meme let's be honest shall we. Their budget phones are good for the buck. But they can't stand any chance in high end phones as they look like a 1.200€ Redmi with better specs. And they even have 100€ Redmi features such as the 2.0 USB or the 1080p selfie.

Is Samsung ever going to publish specification detail for this phone beyond the high level features? SIM configuration for each model, as well as the frequency band detail? It is conspicuously missing from all of their product information. Is this intentional? Are they hiding something here?

              Toooo much over price smartphone

Oliver Wafula, 03 Feb 2023Who needs a 3.5mm jack when you can use bluetooth earbuds. ... morebluetooth earbuds will never replace wired audio in terms of audio quality. flagship phones are meant to have more features right? but why is it like pineapples of androids??? no sd slot?? fine. i'd use a usb dongle. not relying on cloud storage. 3.5mm jack?? yes they dont need battery just to listen to music. but i dont want to wear my bt headphone for long, it'll just break my hair like a broken car bumper.

Hanif Fikri, 05 Feb 2023I hate bottom left speakeratleast they dont put at the back. like in the realme c31 or nokia c12. bottom left or right speaker isnt a problem. anyway, to fit a stylus integrated into the phone, it has to position the speaker bottom left.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2023Xiaomi 13 pro recording bad? Let me remind u if u have forg... moreLOL is this simple trolling or now you are even dreaming while being awake? XuangMing phones have never been even on top 10 best cameras, their high range cameras are weak even compared to mid range phones from good beands. I would even be ashamed to say such a meme of a brand makes the best photos and videos my dear "FlagshipsSuck" whose comment has been liked again by "notafanboy" who claims he's not a fanboy but agrees with every comment claiming Xiaomi or Vivo are the best? Hahahahaha this is pathetic and funny at the same time.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has nothing new as it's literally a 12 Pro with a 5% bigger battery and the same garbage cameras but a new marketing tag "Leica" (comparisons show how weak it is once again) when did you dream Xiaomi is the best for both videos and photos if it has laugheable post processing that oversaturates and puts a lot of grain in their pics? What about the laugheable night photos that look mid-range? What about the 1080/30 video selfie like low end 150€ phones??

Now sum all of that up with MEMEUI and its bugs, ads and bloatware and they ask more than 1.000€ for a phone that no one will pay you more than 300€ in 2024. I don't know why you chinese fanboys and Samsung haters come to moan about Samsung phones in Samsung pages, no one does this in Xiaomi pages. Don't you realize that posting such comments just prove you soak in tears because you can't accept the fact your beloved phones are inferior in EVERYTHING aspect except for fast charge? Grow up kid. And don't use multiple accounts as it's obvious who you are!!!

Others are so similar like "notafanboy" who is a strong fanboy of some cr4p brands but always hating and moaning about Samsung phones, oh dear I really feel pity for these guys - the only excitement they get in their life is to hate devices they can't even afford on a public Internet forum.

FlagshipsSuck, 04 Feb 2023Listen to how you sound, like a child throwing a fit. You t... moreI seriously enjoy seeing how you fill your keyboard with tears, hahahaha no matter of how many cringe posts you write, chinese phones are, have been and will be trash. Their UIs are pathetic and full of bugs and bloatware, bad and scarce updates, pathetic 1080/30 selfies (+1.200€ Oppo and Xiaomi have 1080/30 front facing video like 150€ phones loool) bad night photos, 2x or 3x pathetic zoom, pathetic USB 2.0 like if we were still in 1995 and so on, seriously dude don't ashame yourself as this is a public site and everyone will see it once again.

Racist what? Are you serious?? Keep barking dude, you have no arguments at this point. The only decent brand was Huawei, the rest are trash, especially Xiaomi with that ad, bug and bloatware filled software known as MEMEUI in the entire world. I know it's hard for you to tolerate Samsung is the king once again as it has been over a decade, it's obvious, and even you know this fact, just looking at your messages all you do is cry and moan about Samsung because you don't want to accept reality and facts.

A couple of days ago you were moaning DxoMark is not reliable and you called them "DxoScam" because Vivo X90 Pro+ is not even on the top, now it's a good source all of a sudden "17th place" bwahahahaha, btw S23 Ultra has not even been reviewed yet, so again you have no arguments to moan about. Like I said at this point your replies are pure enjoyment my friend. Your name is "FlagshipsSuck" but you recommend +1.000€ "flagship" chinese garbage while you just moan about Samsung - that hypocrysy is laugheable.

You speak about RAM when it has 12GB LPDDR5X and you speak about sensors showing how little idea you have, that 10mpx ultrawide on Samsung has better results than 50mpx on Xiaomi. You show how you have no idea about cameras (nor about anything you talk about) when you repeat and believe the marketing strategies with Leica or Hasselblad that shown how Xiaomi and Oneplus still have bad cameras for their price, just because they paid a known brand to promote their camera, that won't improve their results.

The main sensor of the S23 Ultra is beating Apple and Pixel in 90% of comparisons, won't even talk about Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo... which are not even competitors as they are so inferior. As always you just spread hate about Samsung coz you are one of these pity haters. Slow reverse charge? That's your argument seriously?? OMG hahahaaha imagine paying more than 300€ for a chinese phone... that means you enjoy being scammed for bloatware, laugheable UIs with 2 years of late updates and buggy and bloatware filled UIs, trash cameras, complete lack of decent specs, 70% of devaluation after the first year, trash battery life and so on. Don't try to justify how you waste your money in such useless brands. Samsung owns all chinese brands and everyone knows it. Now entertain us more please, it's really fun to read your comments!!!

Huawei Mate 50 Pro still can beat this phone in a lower price too.

                              I hate bottom left speaker

I have had this phone for two days. I had an s21 ultra before that. S23 ultra definitely takes better pictures. But the video has very, very weak stabilization, especially on that new camera module. There are even frame skips. I hope this will be fixed with a firmware update. And if not, then this will be my worst purchase. This is not a mistake of my use, because everything here is similar to the s21 ultra. If filming is important, it's better to wait to see what will change after receiving the update. I now doubt whether I did the right thing by buying this phone.

Well, I saw a question about battery life and this is something I puffed out in front of the iPhone with more than 10 hours together with the 14 pro max and with a temperature of 34 degrees or less! good for Samsung, we must also highlight the good

In other words, nothing really new here, same old same old. I stopped wanting to get a new phone every couple of years because they have pretty much stopped advancing. Samsung we are not stupid, we noticed. No MicroSD card slot, no 3.5 mm headphone jack, automatic disqualification. No 4K screen yet? Same old 1440p resolution screen that we've had since the Galaxy S6 for crying out loud, just made it a bit taller but no extra resolution horizontally, that's pathetic. At least you still have a SIM card slot, I can give you some respect for that. There's really not much different here, I am typing this comment on an old Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S23 is really not that much better. Since phones have stopped getting much better every year I'm just going to buy a cheap budget phone from India or something where they are actually trying to compete and be innovative.

Miyu, 03 Feb 2023Dude, Your comment makes me laugh. Common sense left youYou make me laugh by defending this anti consumer bs forcing user to use greedy scummy overpriced cloud storage screw that 😂😂😂😂

The 8 Gen 2 is one of the best chips Qualcomm designed in years. It's not every year they get it right with the perfect balance of power and efficiency.

The 810 (2015), 888 (2021), and 8 Gen 1 (early-2022) were not efficient enough. The higher single-core speeds in CPU and GPU could make the S23s better for emulation than the Red Magic 8 Pro. Any boost in single-core clock speeds makes running emulators perform better.

S23 Ultra is the one, folks. The Fold 5 and Flip 5 will come with smaller batteries with the same chip. Fold 5 powers a larger internal display. Flip 5 will probably come with a 3900 mAh battery like the base S23. Putting 5000 will make it too thick when it's already thick when closed.

Not many techtubers are mentioning this and instead are saying Samsung is offering terrible trade-in deals this year which is true. But a carrier like AT&T is offering $1000 bill credits if you trade-in any Samsung Galaxy S phone in any condition. It includes other brands like any old Pixel if you want $1000 off.

Yes, you're stuck with them for 3 years unless you do $6 Next Up every month to be eligible for a new phone after 18 months. But you're getting $1000 off by trading in any broken Galaxy S3, Pixel 2, or whatever. Check the eligibility of old phones you can trade in on their site. The eligibility list can change at any time.

The number 23 is the GOAT number. The S23s will be released on Michael Jordan's birthday (Feb 17). Coincidence? Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra might the Michael Jordan for their smartphones: the GOAT.
