Clearly an take from Apples book of updating the hardware for next year. Bah! wery Marginal upgrade. Although ditching the Exynos is an welcomed update. Theres even downgrades as well such as selfie cam (well pixels ain't everything but still with numbers) and wireless charging.
What an disappointment! Yet! I kinda expected this nonsense.

I have had the S10+ since release, but... moreActually i do have a problem with battery life S10 series, BUT it has a lot of change since Note10 and Z Flip 1, the battery life much better than S10 even with the same standard use browsing nonstop, not really a significance drop than S10

Unlike you, I have had issues with my S10+'s battery life, usually not lasting a full day. It really affected me on a trip to France, where the train companies were striking and there was no transport at all. I was living off of my powerbank, and ultimately off of strangers' directions.
I expect a big improvement with the S23 Ultra. I'm also looking forward to that higher refresh rate screen, since we S10+ users have been stuck on 60hz.

I have been on the Galaxy Note 10+ since 2019 and have LOVED it. In the 3.5 years, NO cellular phone mfgs have put out a new device that has called me away from my 10+. Not even the S22. The only major improvement on the S22 from my 10+ was the camera resolution. The S10+ has been, and still is, a solidly working phone for me. I have not cracked or scratched the screen in the 3.5 years I have owned it, nor have I used a screen protector, either, and I have dropped this puppy a time or two. The sound is amazing. The size is perfect. I am in the IT field, so I DO use my phone for MANY hours a day, so it is always under stress.
Then comes the S23 Ultra.... I think finally a new phone I can jump o and say its an improvement. Screen is slightly smaller, but shouldnt be that noticeable. Larger capacity battery, I will get with nothing less than the 256GB/12GBAnd then, theres that camera.... An improvement over the S22, hands down better than what my phone has, with more options...
It's time to make the leap.

Beavis, 31 Jan 2023Why no microsd card slot samsung? wthI was really upset this Samsung didn't bring back the microSD slot on the S23 Ultra. However after giving it a lot of thought it's not their fault but Apple's. Think about this: Apple gets a lot revenue from bumping the price on a 512 or 1TB model, with this money they can spend more on innovation. When MicroSD was available on high end Samsung phones, no one paid more for bigger internal memory because people could just use their previous memory card, hence not as much money than Apple for innovation.

The Fold series itself is a great concept, but as you said, the crease is the part that messes up the phone's aesthetic. I'm thinking of changing my Note 10 to whatever phone they announce on Feb 1st.

Samsung user, A71,broken display already two years, looking for new Samsung, found A53. Good choice. I learned to make good photos and videos in dark areas during rock concerts.
There is no chance to buy phone which costs more then my new future TV(Philips).
Even with cheapest phone you can call, send messages, make video calls, surfing on internet to eternity, but money comes not so easy. And so every begining of february. Guys, don't forget to buy to your better halfs some present for Valentine! 😊
