I did use the USB port for Smart Switch. But I could have also done that wirelessly.
If I had not been transferring over all my videos and pictures, I would have just used the wireless option.

Examples include the home button error 53 scandal and the bug where setting the date to early 1970 would render the system unbootable.

Will you also happily "move on" to missing USB ports when that feature goes? Is this a bright future to look forward to?

Admit it already, SD cards have become an addition, rather than necessity. Making wild claims that there will be immediate data loss. We can adapt. You forget, Apple's users have been using SD cards since...never. They are doing just fine. Sure they can reach 1TB capacity, but guess what? This phone has both the capacity and memory speed. I call that feature.

Also, tell me one thing. Samsung makes some of the fastest SD cards out there. So why would they choose to blow their own sales and not include them in their flagships? The world may have ended for you and your SD cards, but for the rest of us, we need to MOVE ON to the future.

A one outstanding and matchless device actually. By the way, people, micro SD card support is quite really important. You can buy 1 TB or even 2 TB cards (when it will be finally available ke) and store all of your lifetime photos in it. That is a thing! This is a major must in my opinion. I think the flagship phone should include support of the external cards.

MicroSD cards have the same shape since two decades, which is a benefit for backwards-compatibility, but their internal technology has significantly improved. Did you notice the massive increases in capacity?

But would you like to know what actually is ancient? Media Transfer Protocol. MTP. It has been trash in 2004 when Microsoft released it for their Zune player, and invariably still is trash. And without MicroSD, you are stuck with MTP when you need to transfer files between your phone and computer.

Besides, that "1 people out of 1000" figure was made up by you out of thin air.

Jesus Christ. This opinion section is full of sd card cr*p. Only 1 people from 1000 is using that sd card. I have 256GB sd card somewhere inside a drawer collecting dust lol.

On the real news which is way more important than SD card I can tell you that after using it for almost 3months(I've got it February 2nd) It's an amazing device. Constant updates every single month, amazing camera(photos, videos are super amazing). Speed is out of this world for samsung. Battery is insane. Even if you are heavy user I highly doubt you can discharge this phone to 0% from 100% in a single day. No more issues with multitasking(exynos to be honest compared to this snap gen2 CPU is ancient like SD cards). Spen functionality is superb and accurate. I like just to lay around and draw something using "penup" program. Feels good in hand without the case. Screen is super bright outdoors even on auto brightness. By the way auto brightness works flawlessly at least for me. Highly recommend this device if you are reading this and checking for real opinion of daily user of this device.

Only one thing worth mentioning. It's not worth to buy 45w charger, buy 25w and you'll be fine. It's charges almost as fast as 45w one and it's cheaper(if it's same price go for 45w).

Kris17, 19 Apr 2023My gripe is with MTP alone. Now that you have mentioned it,... moreFlagships were originally about both speed and functionality. It appears however that the latter is decreasingly being regarded.

Flagship smartphones were once about giving users the confidence that they will be prepared for as many situations as possible, and that all features from their existing phone are covered so people can upgrade without the fear of losing anything.

This confidence was actually eliminated a long time ago already. I can even name an exact date: March 1st, 2015.

Before then, feature removals were rather trivial. On the Galaxy S4, released in early 2013, Samsung got rid of the three-level video bitrate selector in the camera software, and the S5 from 2014 had its air temperature and humdity sensors revoked. Also the Galaxy Note smartphones from the respective years lacked those features. While I was not exactly happy about it back then, that was only the top of the slippery slope, and up to that time, it was tolerable and well outweighed by the improvements.

Little did I expect, the big plunge came with the Galaxy S6.
