A compact budget phone would make much more money than the M/F/C devices ever will. But Samsung's decisions are often not based on money. Stupidity and individual decision maker hangups are often more determinitive.

As a reminder, Samsung is a company. Not your friend, not your servant, and definitely not a genie. They make products whatever and however they want them to be. They couldn't care less if the M/F/C series attracts far less customers than the A and S series as long as it makes them money, however little that money is.
Samsung does not owe you choice, nor will they ever listen to a bunch of loud, petulant folks in such an inconsequential forum. And if you think they *should* have the ability to give you whatever you ask for, you have zero clue on how businesses work.
Just leave them be and find another company that does make an affordable compact phone. It may be from a company you don't necessarily like, or never even heard of before, but what other option do you have besides just going around repeating the same comment criticizing Samsung over and over?

But Xiaomi users couldn't care less, because there's barely anyone in Xiaomi forums who criticizes their strategy and begs for them to make compact mid-rangers. You people keep bashing Samsung like they're the be all and end all of all phone companies who absolutely must give some of their customers special treatment. It's just silly.
