I'm also waiting for Samsung to make an affordable compact phone. If they don't, I won't be coming back. Same for quite a few of my friends and family members.

The Dimensity 7300 chip is also disappointing for that price point, I was expecting a Dimensity 8300 or Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.

This is probably the best "compact" phone you can buy in 2024 (I would say the Zenfone 10 is a bit better though, it still has a headphone jack)

Now they only sell these massive bricks. So I got a Pixel 8 when Google was selling it for $500. Bit pricier than I'd usually go for, but this is what it was. By the way, for all those that are interested, the Pixel 8 is slightly smaller than the 7A. But it's also more expensive, so you must wait for one of those big discounts if you want it.

Would love to have continued, but Samsung didn't want me to continue, as they stopped providing compact options that I can afford. So I got the Pixel 7A (which is slightly larger than I'd prefer, but the best available) during one of their big sales.
