You can get TWO USED S24's for the price of one new S25. They're almost identical. In fact, the S24 has nicer colors, nicer camera design & S24 has louder speakers!
It's been only a year since the S24 came out, that means most refurbished S24 models are lightly used.

I currently have the Nord 3 for a few days now and i think i'm done with large phones. The ideal phone size i think is a Pixel 8/9 or a Xiaomi 14/15.
I have never considered the new Galaxy S25 series as they remain very expensive to me. And updates have been incremental. And in some quarters there has been downgrades. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Can anyone say is the image IQ any better than S24/S23? I know hardware is the same so theoretically IQ should be the same. But the new processor and AI improoved S25 Ultras (same old) camera performances quite visibly. This question is a decider to me. I'm torn between S24 and S25.

Sero, 04 Feb 20256-6,5h SOT. Great standby drain 5% in 24hI got more, north 10hr easy , i charged it after 10-15% battery left. But i didnt use very high brightness, at 20-30% it was already very bright.

I have purchased this phone and it's really awesome. Looks wise it looks more premium than anything (don't go by pics, in real life it looks too good). The compact size is nice for people who want to be able to use phone with one hand. SD 8 elite is insane, destroyed every s24 model by a large margin in geeksbench run on my phone, and performance is super smooth. Battery I am not sure but even if you are a heavy user (except gaming all day), this phone should last long enough. One UI 7 is a refreshing experience.
Overall I would say bundled with pre-order deals, this was worth buying. Yeah, the upgrade is not noticeable compared to last year but I am upgrading after 5 years so this is a massive jump for me.

I read that Galaxy AI is likely becoming a paid service in 2026.
For Pixels I didn't find information about their plans to keep it for free or switch to a paid service next year too.

S25 is about 2.5x faster, has UFS 4.0, smaller bezels, smaller camera punchout, much lighter, more customizable UI, has all the Pixel software + Samsung exclusive software like Dex (best of both words) etc etc. And on top of all that P9 Pro 256gb is even 100€ more expensive. You must be total Android purist and Google lover to buy a Pixel in 2025 lol.
