Hey all, looking for suggestions here. I am thinking about retiring my S10e after it serving me a graceful 5 years. I love compact phones and would still keep this one if only the (lack of) updates weren't killing it. I am considering the S24 and S25. S24 has a great price at my provider (half of the S25) right now, but I am already losing one year of software support, and would get the weaker Exynos chipset, and the S25 is promising more battery life. Question is, is the double price worth it for the extra year of updates, Snapdragon chipset and slightly bigger battery capacity?

But S25 Edge seems interesting if it has Si/c battery (highly unlikely)

Having a s21 and reading the reviews about this phone I have been disappointed with Samsung for not.fixing up their cameras etc. Was looking to upgrade this year but to much negative responses about this phone. I'll wait for the s26 and see if samsung have done their homework.

they should offer more of these similar sized phones at other budgets as well instead of pushing us to buy premium.

But the question s how long it will take. The S25 is a good phone, not excellent, nor it can rely on innovative features that competitors lack.

Guys'n'gals, I'm on Nokia 8 and have been using it for more than 6 years. I need an upgrade, really need a new phone, I prefer a compact device. But I can't justify the price. I thought about S24 but it's exynos one here not snapdragon. I recently bought a Xiaomi 14T, not opened the box yet so I can return it without a loss.
Should I bite the bullet and get this lovely blue S25?

Because of the ancient slow 25w charging. Unless the A36 or A56 surprises us. Deal breakers for me are the overall size and weight (I would still say a Pixel 8/9, Xiaomi 14/15 or even a Moto Edge 50 Neo IMO are perfect sizes for me), fast charging (45w?) and yes the cameras; a decent/ mid of the road chipset would suffice for me. it has to support either Dolby Atmos or universal spatial audio with a bit of bass and hi-res audio support are also deal breakers for me. I'm happy to wait what Nothing will bring out to the table too with my aforementioned "requirements". Any more advice?

Though the deals right now (£150 off + free 67w fast charging brick included) are rather tempting.
