It's same tsmc process, sale screeens, by which magic they could do better... Apple would have martian tech coders ? I'm coder for too long, yes they are good and obsssessed at optimizing, like killing apps, prelozd webpages, are mostly swipping problems under the carpet and making it worse.
So zamzing finally switched back to Qualcomm for all s25 everywhere ?

Screen definitely become too small. My older eye and badly designed apps, especially with zoom enabled.
Not sure still worth pay that huge price for Samsung also.not much improvement except proc.
Picture, well I don't buy those IA stuff, don't know what real improvoements are.
Their shenanigans spyi buggy bloated os not any better that shytomi or googoo nowadays. So why pay that much. And do I really need elite procnfor text and browse ..
Idk. I'll go cheaper mid range brands I think, it's as good if now better ( less bloaty-spy annoying software ) nowadays.

So it's finally time to upgrade from my S10e. In the EU so my options (e.g Sharp) are limited.
Losing the card slot and jack is extremely inconvenient, but with no Xperia 5VI, one has to make compromises in this size category.
This is the first base Samsung flagship with both 512GB and Snapdragon in the EU. Before now I'd be stuck with 256GB which is not enough for music storage and eventually 5+ years of photos.
And I've decided to compromise on the lack of a jack with a HiFi DAC.
So overall, the specs on this are just sweet enough to make the compromise, compared to the S24 which is completely unusable for somebody with my requirements.

Considering what s23 is still capable of nowadays, With the new chipset, optimizations, and some others tricks you can activate, the s25 could battery be more than sufficient

UFS 4.0 storage is only manufactured at 256gb or higher

kinkam, 24 Jan 2025Hold up! Why is the battery only 4,000mAh?In the Samsung company's point of view, so that will differentiate them between s25 and s25+, and s25+ has 4900mAh, 45W and QHD+, you'd go straight to s25+ instead of s25.
But it's a piece of shit for the users, Samsung is betting on whether you'll ditch it.

... moreNo it's not. S23 has much better camera from S22 and S21. Zoom, sharpness, night is also noticible better and ofc selfie camera. Not to mention other things.

There are barely any significant changes over the S24 that would warrant a $300+ price increase over the outgoing model. Except the processor and RAM, its practicality the same as the S24!
