Or even when going to 100x. It does it much, much better than my S24 Ultra did.

The most obnoxious Samsung flagship launch in history ! At least Note 7 was a good upgrade specwise over Note 5. this is bottom of the barrel economy cuts on S25 Ultra, same cameras or worse, bad display, same battery since the S21 ultra, removed S-pen functionality that was there since the Note 9, Less ram then the S21 Ultra wich had 16Gb version, and many more. I sold my S23 Ultra to buy S24 ultra and i regret it every day, but ill never buy the S25 Ultra. Samsung has gone downhill since the S23 ultra.

Additional feature include S Pen support, IP68 water and dust resistance, and 5G. Price: $450 for 16GB/512GB version.

The ultrawide is higher resolution, thus looks better on paper, but it's actually worse than last year's 12MP ultrawide, and it makes sense as that one had larger pixels.🤣

F... you, Samsung. In US price is $1299 for 512GB version with additional $500 off trade-in...In UK £1349 and up to £200 off when trade-in ( in both cases S21 Ultra). Greedy wan.ers. No Samsung in my life anymore.

Manufacturers have run out of ideas. Samsung is sticking to the same formula for a 4th year now, if it aint broke why fix it?

I thought the software would bring better camera quality such as in video but it still lags behind apple. The S pen is a downgrade. Battery life is not improved over the S24 series.

I think Samsung will jump to S30 for a new generation of smartphones going forward.

Idk why this phone in my country have a camera issue. I saw a video on tiktok there's a video reviewing galaxy s25 ultra while we zoom in to 10× there's a glitch or smth on that camera. If you want to buy this phone, check the camera zoom before buying it.

Unfortunately This 'Ultra' is the only Ultra without Ultra specifications.

The statement I was responding to was " samsung did not announce 16Gb variant". By the way it is not about how much of RAM, but how well it is managed. Even if you have 32GB ram and is not managed well, it's of no use.

It goes for 1500€ in my country, that's an above average monthly salary... Are prices just going to keep increasing each year at this point? I'd like to buy it but can't afford it... I miss those days when flagships used to cost 800-900€ on release

Technically based on this video, S23U has better zoom because its optical (it's 10mp but raw) compare to the other 50mp hybrid zoom. They only have a better result due AI assistance. 50mp is not enough to make it more clear without AI.

Overall the difference is not that much.

I recently bought the 1TB/12GB variant and what are my impressions? Apart from the fact that sometimes the phone freezes for 1-2 seconds when waking up the screen, it's quite good 🤣
The camera in night mode on the ultra-wide angle takes worse photos than my good old Galaxy S10+ (fortunately I still have it and I can cheer myself up when I start to get annoyed with the S25U). I don't understand what kind of upgrade was used in this phone, but I don't see any benefits from it, maybe apart from the fact that the phone is mega fast, I have to admit that, but apart from the AI thing, nothing much has changed here.
It should be added that the 8K video recording mode has gained the ability to record in ultra-wide and 5x telephoto mode, so the change is noticeable compared to the S23U from which I upgraded.
Good battery life, especially after switching the screen resolution to FHD+, there's nothing to complain about here, it's really good.
It's also cool that they rounded the corners of the phone, it's better to hold it in hands when watching content than the S23U. There are no major changes. I'm slowly thinking about moving away from Samsung, but I'll wait for the S26U and see if anything changes.
Overall, I give it a 7/10 but shouldn't be a 10/10 for amount of money it costs? I'm not sure about that...
