after upgrading to Android 5.0 battery drains fast. i tried installing some app for battery saving but it wont work (i guess all of battery apps are really not working), i also disable all features that i dont need like auto-sync, gps, etc. any way i can make my S5 more reliable to use, i really hate it when i can only use it for a day. do i have to do factory reset? please help me. from Phils here.

Received lollipop a week ago.Here is my experience:
+faster & snappier than before (improved performance).
+improved camera performance overall.
+improved loudspeaker performance.
+better RAM management.
+charges quicker than before.
+more fun to use than before.
+less throttling and less heat than before.
-switching off takes 10 to 15 seconds whereas before it was like 2 or 3 seconds.
-reduced standby time.
-noticed one app crash and one freeze (maybe compatibility issue with certain or pre lollipop apps or something like that).
So far so good.Definitely worth upgrading.
If used cleverly phone last 3 to 5 days on light usage.
Hope android m pushes things even better.

Samsung did a big mistake by giving only 2GB RAM for this great device, they should have given 3GB !!!

After updating to Lollipop, my phone has often been restarting randomly on its own. Is anyone experiencing the same thing, too? Do you happen to know any solution with this issue? Thank you in advance! :)

The original galaxy s5 is only quad core but there is an octa core version. Please kindly search galaxy s5(octa core) on gsmarena. You will find it there.

I got the lollipop update already and i got another update. So far lolli update is fine. When i play games it doesnt close while playing unlike before it just stop and then i need to reopen the game again but since i just had the update for almost 2 weeks im still checking for some bugs that will show up soon. Hopefully there will be no bugs. i like the update so far. From the Philippines here.

Issues After Two Lollipop Updates
Lately, Samsung has pushed two updates in a span of about two weeks. The first update, I noticed a degraded color richness of the pictures taken by the camera. I compared using same settings and same objects. Probably this is one of the reasons why an update was pushed again this weekends. Last Monday, I gave in to persistent update notification and it went without issue. Took some colorful photos and quality was same as before the updates. Yesterday, I checked again the photos but I cannot find it. Took some photos again and confirmef that it is there and closed the application. When I was trying to check in the Gallery, it's not there. I deleted some old photos and restarted the phone and to my surprise, the deleted photos are there again. Has this happened to any of you? By the way, a message like "The process android media has stopped" is reported by my phone from time to time after the latest update.
