That shows everyone how you treat your phones.....and then you expect the manufacturer to pick up the bill.

Buying a Galaxy S5 was a HUGE MISTAKE. If you are thinking about buying this phone, save your money. I had such a bad experience with this phone and Samsung Customer Service, I'm making it my life's mission to tell you all about it. I would rant about how its promised "ultra power saving mode" is a load of crap (my battery barely lasts 8 hours), but let's focus on Samsung's empty promise of water resistance and craptacular technical support

First, I purchased my Galaxy S5 December 2015. I loved its promises of resistance to "sweat, rain, liquids, sand and dust, so your phone is protected for any activity and situation." These situations obviously do not cover spilling tea on your lap, or, perhaps, tea is not included in their list of approved "liquids."

That's all it took. A cup of scalding hot tea spilled in my lap whilst I had my Galaxy S5 in my back pocket. After leaping around the house and stripping myself of my lava-soaked clothing, I wiped the phone off, confident of its ability to stem the tide of my steaming Earl Grey. Oh what a fool was I. My phone started acting a bit fritzy and wouldn't charge. I took the phone in to Best Buy and the Samsung rep took the back cover off and found moisture under the battery. Turns out my charging port stopped working. WHAT THE HELL?!?! I let it dry in some rice, but nothing worked. Damage was done.

I had read that faulty charging ports are a thing, so I contacted Samsung to see if they could fix it.

I contacted Samsung and the online chat service was polite and concise. The rep asked me to mail my phone in (oh yeah, the shipping and packaging cost $15US) and they said Samsung would evaluate it. I tracked my phone on Samsung's convenient tracking system, and they had my phone ONE DAY. ONE FREAKING DAY. I thought, "Wow! They are quick. They replaced my charging port and shipped it out the next day." HORSE CRAP!

I didn't know that they didn't fix my phone until is arrived at my house. I plugged it in, excited that my phone was home. Yeah, no charge. Then I dug out the documents and read "Water Damage. Corrosion. Your phone is unable to be repaired" printed in small print.

Now, if I want a replacement phone I have to file an insurance claim and pay, get this, a $200 deductible.

Buyer beware. This phone promises water resistance, and the company promises customer service, but my broken phone determines that is a lie.

Stick with your iPhone if you are considering a change. I had one for two years, and while I'd break a screen every 8 months, at least the phone still works.

My Samsung Galaxy S5 is, without a doubt. I've owned it nearly 10 months and have not one negative thing to say about it. I can't imagine any other phone being performing any better. It's very good and I can do everything with my galaxy. Big screen is live and bright. Speed is very good.

Having issues with memory card too.
Device says memory card unexpectedly removed even if it is not...
After I unmount and remount the memory card device says ,no data found in memory card

                    Is a very good phone.
Only a problem, the Color Scheme that Samsung chose is a very very bad choice(Lolipop). There is no contrast between background and text on a lot of cases. when I am using a Network command(*100# in my network), a menu pop-up where I need to answer with 1,2,3... my answer is written almost white on white:(
Can not understand why colors can not be changed on settings on Android...

I like the phone itself but I really hate whenever I have to charge it! It is such a pain in the butt to connect the cord to the phone. Would be perfect if they make that simpler, then maybe it would get 5 stars from me.
