Hello,
I am a 16 year old girl, and I have had the s5 for about a week now. Let's just say that this is an OK phone. I had a hard time deciding between the s5 or an iPhone 6 and I went with the Galaxy. But it's not as great as everyone says it is. In the past I have had an HTC evo and an LG Optimus g. I also have a samsung tablet 3. For a few months I had to use the tablet as a phone. And when I got the s5 it was much too similar to my old phones and my tablet. The design is the same, and pretty basic. I was looking forward to a better camera but it is what disappointed me the most. The camera is ok, but the front camera is awful. As a dumb teenager like myself, I like taking selfies. I know, screech in horror. But I was really annoyed with how poor the camera is. Also, when I watch Netflix, on a daily basis, the colors look very weird. It went dark in a scene I was watching and the screen looked bad.
I have only had this phone for a short amount of time but it hasn't thrilled me as much as I thought it would. There were cool features advertised like waterproof, heart rate monitor, and how it's so much better than any other phone. But I don't even need any of those extra features, like I'm going to take my phone near water, yeah right. I don't know, it's a decent phone, but it hasn't really impressed me. I might go get an iPhone 6 instead..

Quality
Sd card
Removable battery
Freedom cost of everything
If you so much as breath
on an iphone,you have to
apple through itunes.
Sharing and receiving from
other people of files.
The list goes on and on and on. Get the iphone if you are insecure and want to be able to say , I've got an iPhone.
For the replies of apple's simpler or ..it just works, it's about time people stood up to that extinct trade clap trap,
the S5 you just push the icon you want to do what you want.. you know..phone to phone , text to text,web for web , email to email, camera for camera, all the other massive extra function you don't even have to touch or go near unless you want to use it.
Time to grow , get the s5 unless your prepared to compromise on your total user quality and options.

i got my phone in May 2014 within a week I took it back because for some reason it switched itself off the network without my knowledge because the signal is full at the time and then nobody can get hold of me.... Nashua at the time just say yes it is normal that happens... bull sh... this is getting so frustrating that I went and got another sim card in one of my old phones so I can divert my phone when this happen and my family can get hold of me. I can not see that this is normal in any way.. and also the battery heats up so much that I can boil a cup of water if I put my phone in a cup with water. this is for real maybe i got a dud phone....

I love my Samsung, I've always have my galaxy series. I been using s5 over 1 year now. I loved it at first. But recently it is giving me a lot of trouble........ the screen will start typing when I'm not even touching it at all. Sometimes I can't unlock my screen because of that. And That's Like the main thing right now. It bugs me.....

Dylan, 26 Mar 2015Pros: Decent battery life Decent screen SD card slot C... morewell said there, that's why I quit Samsung 2 years ago. yes they bring update fast before u even know it, but after every update is a rubbish. then there come too nor so many bug fixes's which is so odd and eats up the phone memory. S3 & S4 (unlock) ex-user here and one thing im glad about is that we have the same experience. Cheers!
