people that enjoy a fast phone, replaceable battery, memory expansion, no iTunes watching everything that you do,

I could fill this page up like you did, but facts don't need feces to sound impressive.
BTW,
I think it's good Apple finally got a bigger screen, all those Apple hippies are getting older, bad eyesight, you know

s5 .... its been almost 5 years since Samsung launched their first smart phone .... and although samsung is one of apple's leading competitor, however I still think that there are still a lot of features in apple phones which are visibly lacking in Samsung phones.....
I have used Iphone 4,Samsung Note,Iphone 5 and now recently bought a Galaxy s5.... the shortcomings that I am referring to here are not some big glaring issues ... they are little things which, I think, have been handled exceptionally well in apple...
For exmaple, in S5 media from whatsapp is downloaded directly to the gallery....there is no option to stop that...atleast not directly from the phone as in Iphone.....there is a workaround for the same.....u need to download ESExplorer and then open the Whatsapp folder in the same and add a file called .nomedia ..... in Iphone it is as simple as pressing a button in the chat settings....
Other issue (and this one is really a f****ing headache) is to get at the Home Screen settings ... (not the one of changing the wallpaper but the one where we can define whether we want the magazine or not) .... this one supposedly pop ups when u long press the home screen (a free spot on the home screen) ...however there are already so many things on the home screen that most of the time long pressing the home screen never takes u to the home screen settings(actually nothing happens!!!) ....(really guys did u not test the phone after assembling it :/ ).... and to top that there is no other to way to go this setting(whoever came up with that idea is indeed a genius!!)... On one of the lucky attempts that I was able to go to the Home Screen settings I disabled the magazine....BIG MISTAKE!!! .... now i am trying to get back in but i cant go back to the home screen settings!! :/
There is also a very stupid(atleast thats what i feel) effect ,when u wake ur phone up by pressing the power button. Suppose u have an Unlock Effect of Popping Colors...whenever u wake ur phone up there will be small bubbles popping on the screen...WHY!!! this is true or all the effects! ... I mean I understand that when u swipe ur fingers across the screen to unlock the effects should be there... but why when the screen wakes up after pressing the power button.... to overcome this I i choose None from the unlock effect.... u would think that this should resolve the issue.. but NO!!! when u do that there is a big lock symbol on the screen....bravo to the person who came up with that idea!!!....when we choose None there should be no effect on the screen... u already display in the bottom left corner, "Swipe screen to unlock", then whats the use of the lock symbol!!!! ..... it just ruins the lock screen wallpaper..!!
The issue of phone being a little slow is also there.... I got Note1 2 years ago.... this issues was there in that also... and now here we are 2 years after and yet this issue has not been addressed satisfactorily...
I have been using s5 for only a week and I have already found these issues....I am sure that there are going to be more small bugs....please I would request Samsung to address these kind of silly design issues before launching a product.... I have switched between apple and samsung phones twice... whenever I switch from a Samsung phone to Apple i always have a feel good factor .... however it is not true other way round...i shifted to s5 from Iphone 5 hoping that issues - similar to the one mentioned above ,that I encountered in Note - will have been resolved by now but alas that is not the case..... MAYBE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT FOR SAMSUNG!!!

bg, 08 Sep 2014dude, my bro got S5 2months back and i bought E8 just 12 da... moreMan you can say what ever you want s5 is just nice to use , very happy about all exept water resistance . It resists well but you lose the sound . Ain't no way i'll buy a m8 or e8 i checked the phone don't like the ui . It's irrational and a mess samsung wins in all ways

i can't playback 1080p videos on youtube app only 720p option available on my s5 and tab pro 10.1, but i can on my xperia z

The battery life depends on the (not classical cliche "usage") mode you select to use it. If you choose the standard mode with regular use it can go up to 24 hrs. Thus, if you put it on ultrasaver mode it can go up to a week.

It can ... morethe battery in the s5 can sometimes drain really quickly. the first thing i done after doing some research is get rid of all the useless apps-like amazon apps etc and then download an app called battery doctor-which you can use to switch off applications that are running in the background and now my battery lasts a lot longer.

Galaxy S5 4G has a KILL SWITCH named Reactivation lock .The phone is useless if stolen .Good job Samsung.

I tried soo hard to convince myself that the design of this phone is not that bad.....
Turns out i failed in doing so... galaxy alpha or galaxy note 4 will be my next thing.
Its a shame that both the phones are not dust and waterproof but i've used phones in the past that were not waterproof either so i guess i'll just put up with it
