I "upgraded" to an S5 from an S3. I was tired of the short battery life of the 3. I have had the 5 for about a week and I would take my dead battery back in a heartbeat. The camera on the 5 sucks! There is a constant lag. My phone is soooo slow. Plus, it is constantly kicking me out of applications. I'm taking it back on Monday. Totally disappointed.

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014That's why I told this to Tcool. He told me how easy to use... moreYeah most boys wear tight jeans and putting phone with metal body and non-removable battery inside the pocket heats up more than phone with plastic body.

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014That's why I told this to Tcool. He told me how easy to use... moreWhy would I buy third party batteries?
What do you think of me, I cannot afford original Samsung batteries?
FYI I bought only original spare batteries for my S5 and Note 3 from an authorized store and never did those batteries get heat up inside my bag!

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014That's why I told this to Tcool. He told me how easy to use... moreThe portable charger which you use is more dangerous than a spare battery. It heats up more when it charges a phone.
Safety first and comfort.
It is safer and more comfortable to bring a spare battery than a heavy dangerous portable charger.

LOL!

Well I've been using S4 for past 3 months & haven't faced any such issue like over heating, yeah phones do get warm if used for hours but that's normal also please do keep in mind, never use your phone while charging (just unplug it if you wanna use) & never keep your phone under blanket/pillow, it might turn out to be dangerous.
Keep safe & enjoy your gadget.

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014That's why I told this to Tcool. He told me how easy to use... moreFYI battery will only heat up when in use. A battery inside the pocket will not heat up unless the positive and negative terminals got shorted due to accidental contact with metals like keys.

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014Hey, we just finished talking about exploded Galaxy devices... moreWell it happens that she was using Galaxy S4 but regardless of brand, any phone keep covered without ventilation for a long period of time will surely heat ups and worse explode.
Not only phones, I hope you know the reason why there are available cooling fans for laptops and notebooks.

You shouldn't keep electr... moreThat's why I told this to Tcool. He told me how easy to use a spare battery. But 90% of the third party batteries available on the market are cheap ones. It doesn't matter if you are using an original manufacturer's battery.
Not only under the pillow, this could happen even in the pocket. Most boys today wear tight jeans.

AnonD-116479, 26 Jul 2014Hey, we just finished talking about exploded Galaxy devices... moreWell, that girl was an id*ot.
You shouldn't keep electronic gadgets under the pillow as the ventilation stops and the heat can't release.
Additionally, the girl was using a non-certified cheap battery.

very happy with the s5 so far. excellent camera, great browsing no lag. brilliant battery life. only the speakers are not the best' but the sound is great with headphones. as for looks i think the s5 is a good looking phone' its good to hold' not like a bar of soap like some of the metal and glass phones. most phone users use covers anyway so all you can see is the screen, which on the s5 is one of the best i have seen.

and I am happy to report that the S5 is much much better. I can play games, skype, with normal usage and without using any power saver and still go longer than two days without a charge. After 2 months usage I am still amazed by this phone.
