I own both iPhone 5s and HTC M8, I had Galaxy S5 few months ago and sold it. The HTC M8 and the iPhone 5s are faster than the Galaxy S5. At the end of the day all of them are great phones.

Via WiFi internet connection, opening web pages and Facebook in iPhone 4 takes like a century to open completely while on my S5 it's just a snap of a finger.
They are connected to the same WiFi.
Opening Temple Run 2 in iPhone 4 is very slow, while Temple Run 2 in S5 opens quicker.
I am not happy with iPhone 4, it's a waste.

Samsung s5 is a good piece...a new experience to the mobile lovers. But the bjggest problem i have with my s5 is the battery life..its the worst battery i have ever seen. Even galaxy grand which was my previous phone gave an excellent batter back up for a day. But with net on,s5 caters the needs only for about 5 hrs,which is so shocking. If you ask me,i would say NO TO S5....GO TO S4 OR NEXUS 5

the chipset gpu rendering is the no 1 deciding factor that explain
the whole phone performance in general..,
graphic rendering is the most burden task in mobile computing...
that why you will see the gpu peak shader 'gflops' are increasing from flagship to another flagship.this scenario are same as what we see in desktop computer graphic card.
thats why "futuremark 3d mark" is only worldwide certified graphic bencmark that whole world can rely.
A slower gpu will lead to slowing down the phone performance in general.A phone with
spectacular camera is nothing / useless if equiped with slower gpu.

Performance is a very small part of a phone. Surely mi3 can't match the features, screen, sensors, camera, developer support and battery life of s4.

darkgamer, 23 Jul 2014It has snapdragon 800 which is better than the snapdragon 6... moreAgreed, it's better than S4 but tell me, today if I exchange my S4 for S5 wouldn't I get a handsome amount compared to the Xiaomi MI3? Now that's called brand value which the Xiaomi doesn't have. Further, i own the S4 for few months now & I haven't faced a single issue about anything, it has a great screen resolution & superb camera, these new phones like Xiaomi have better looks & are available for a very reasonable amount but they don't last long, you can't be assured that they'll stay with you for years but with Samsung you can rely on that.
PS: I'm not at all against Xiaomi so pls don't get me wrong.

Sorry...We have seen the news regarding exploded Galaxy S3 and damaged back of a galaxy Note 8. By looking at these facts anyone can say that Samsung also has cheap build quality.
