I share the same sentiments. I have my S5 since October 17, 2014 and it's still perfect. The battery is also keeping it's charge nicely. I too said if my S5 should ever part ways with me I would simply get a next one. The newer phones don't impress me. The S5 is indeed Samsung's very best phone to date and probably will be Samsung's best phone of all time.

              I've been using S5 since June 2014. My opinion is it's the best phone Samsung has ever created! My battery is still perfect, no hanging, network and browsing excellent and i always enjoy the infrared remote. If my S5 ever gets lost (God forbid), i will just go for another S5!

                sir,
                my s5 is not working properly i bought this only one year before but now my desktop is blinging and only the opening screen is showing and i consult one service center they said that may be because of total loss, if i want to repair that one it will be too costlier is it possible to give a solution

The best way is to charge it when higher or lower rto 20%. Then remove the charger when it reached 89%, 97%. Over charging is real. Or 70%. Also good..

It damages ur battery. Also when it drains to 0%. Observe it first.. when its always drain fast.. ex. In a week. Everday. Then change it.

And in my experience using lte.. even inside ur room and have a signal- stable or good signal. In 4g inside ur room lagy or no signal. Lte when outside better signal. Sorry nose bleed

So it heats.. and u wxperience fast battery drain. u check the clock speed of ur phone.s5 is 2.4hz with 4 cores. It means its fast.. thats why its good in playing games.. and surfing.. My suggestion.. when it heats remove the jelly case or any case that u buy.. because it isolate the heat. And electronic devices is sensitive to heat. Then put it again when it cools. Specialy when charging.. remove the jelly case. Then put again when finished charging.

Firstly who will touch the right side of screen when they turn on their phone. U r the exceptional one. Yr 2nd phone has ram issues? Then u should have brought it back to samsung. 3rd phone? I guess it's just you are unlucky. I sympathize with u. So sorry to hear about yr encounter with the weird kind. In all honesty why u posting here?U should have make use of yr time to complain to samsung....or is smasung? LOL

                                      Each one was horrid in its own way. The first one I thought was just bad luck, as it overheated on the right side of the screen within seconds of the screen being on.
                                      But no, each one had the issue, but with more issues with each different one.
                                      The second one had RAM issues (or faulty mobo? Either way, it made it unusable)
                                      The third one (which is the one I have right now, I use it as a spare between phones.) overheats, the battery lasts AT MAX 3 hours, and the LCD is finally giving way.
                                      I will NEVER buy another one of these, and I would recommend them as such.

                                        You clearly have a fake S5, a bad model or you are lying. It's one out of the three.

                                        Next month will make it THREE YEARS since I have had my S5 and I haven't experienced any of the problems you mentioned. The S5 is easily the best smartphone to date!
