Galaxy S5 though has a potential to be be best performer of 2014 it is loosing its ground by its un-friendly tactics like pricing, cheap build quality, poor elements used in the design build, releasing plenty of versions in subgroups of flagship.. And above all still persisting with their home brew cheap Exynos chipset which is not even a match to other flagship models like sony xperia Z2 , Htc M8 , oppo find 7, even last year flagsgips like nexus 5 lumia 1520 etc..
Even though the camera is excellent and touchwiz is somewhat lighter yet still same boring thing.. Its ultimately 'Not the Next Big Thing'... But a slight improvement over the Previous 'Big thing'..
Until Note 4 gets unvield..( With a universal snapdragon chipset and saying goodbye to their exynos one) this year will be dominated by xperia Z2..
I was really looking forward to this next s series but disappointed by its design snd build quality and yet high pricing for this cheap thing. Since JK Shim himself has told that there is no premium S5 with better build quality.. Its xperia Z2 all the way now..

In real life exynos can never beats snapdragon thats why samsung lower the price of exynos model phones.in some market they are selling all thesame price because people don't know the difference.so. Open ur. Eye

Register a complain at consumer rights. Generating heat is not bad, your GPU is working full scale!As for performance please specifically explain where it falls. Playing HD videos, HD games (all GPUs generate enormous heat with asphalt 8 my bros Lumia 1520 with Qualcomm 800 cpu heat is unbearable to touch), WEb browser performance playing flash videos! Also specify the android version.
Else stop crying and spamming the forums with impulsively repeated comments.

hai guys Samsung cheating Indian peoples ,check the processor and version details in the box back side either exynos processor or snapdragan processor. exynos processor is generate more heat and performance also not good so please check and then purchase.

- S5 : rich feature, decent performance, good battery life + removable but cheap build quality and poor design (actually i like S4 design more)
- Z2 : good design and performance thx to snapdragon and 3GB RAM but lack of feature and decent to poor battery life (according to experienced users who used Z series so far)
- Htc one : beast Audio, nice build quality and good performance but lack of feature and so pricy..
well, every1 have + and - so buy smartphone to suit your needs, prestige comes second.

S5 is complete package with all features ,more brighter amoled ,isocell camera ,finger print scanner ,water and dust proof.

In reply to your comment that a phone is not responsible for the kind of network you get is not completely correct ...i have first hand experience on this i own a samsung galaxy grand and the s4 but coverage wise the grand beats the s4 as i always get full H+ on grand but on 3g on the s4 ..explain that

not a new features this phone same for s4 and 2 new features this phone will be use xperia and apple xperia dust & water proof & apple fimgerprint scanner so not a new features but new Android 4.4.2 kitkat this version upgrade samsung any phones so not a new experian
