I'm Disappointed. :( Pathetic Configuration. Not impressed at all... I'm using Note 3 and S4. This is just an upgrade to S4. No way... First time I'm not impressed by Samsung... Come on Samsung... where is 4k Display...Where is 3gb RAM...
Only Waterproof option is made me little happy... everything.. I'll only look for Note 4 now... :)

Again another samsung mistake from the design team and engineering dept. S series are getting uglier and uglier from time to time. S4 didnt make good sales that's why they release s5 earlier, but i think s4 will sell more than this lol. Nice marketing strategy sammy! Samsung is always overdoing there products more features that will not be used by consumers. Not to mention there adoration to aple yeah nice finger print scan sammy. Happy to that i shifted to sony.

This phone is truly a joke and anyone that thought Apple was down the girgler is wrong. Releasing yet again useless and unnecessary features and phone's that are just too damn big to use with one hand.
I just moved back to a iPhone 5S after having owned previously a iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, Dell Streak, SGS, Atrix, SGS3, HTC ONE... nothing changes with none of these phone's... back to the most polished and best in class. The iPhone 5S. This phone looks ridiculous and they are all too big. Anything over 4.3" is too big.

I think this is big mistake. Ok, it is not if they put other name, not s5. This specification ar far away to justify name like galaxy s5. They should make smaller phone than s4 with bigger screen, not like this crap. It is something in the middle s4 and s5. I will definetly buy LG G2 or maybe wait for LG G3.

oh my god! S4 is way better, though s5 got 16MP camera, but 13MP camera is already enough for a detailed photo.

Is this some kind of a joke by Samsung? why would someone buy this ugly looking piece of crap when u have a relatively better looking and better performing note 3 n nexus 5 out there... Marketing the same phone with useless features like fingerprint n heart beat sensors... are you kidding me, Samsung?
Sorry to say this, but this was a big mistake after releasing such a successful product (Note 3)... Disappointed!!!

Funny the whole piece about the ultra power savings feature. Doesn't it have a removable battery anymore? Of course it does. So if you needed more power why not take a extra battery or external battery pack. They are readily available and not expensive.

AnonD-136260, 24 Feb 2014i don't know why to upgrade from s4 to s5...is the sameit's the best samsung smartphone. even there is a lot of major drawbacks. but i think why is it's still using a 2gig ram because maybe samsung wants to sell it as the same price as s4. in indonesia here it's cost around 7.5million and z1 8.8 million and lumia 1520 around 8 million. so that's why maybe

Hmm, where to start... First and foremost, I agree with the post above concerning the screen resolution. 1080p or FHD is by far quite enough for a mobile device with a 5"+ screen. I really don't see the benefits of having a 2K res on such a small screen, anyone who does - i really hope you ppl dont look at your phones with a magnifying glass -_- , I mean wtf? So, give us a break with those kind of comments pls... Thank you.
Next, the bezzels! They are quite dissapointing... Everyone, including myself, was expecting really thin bezzels like the ones on G2... But, i guess that IP67 certificate took it's toll. I guess that's the only reason why they didn't make thin bezzels. Just look at Sony phones, phew! Talking about fat bezzels all around.. Ram? 2 gigs should be enough for 99% of customers and i believe it really is. Although, it would've been nice to see 3Gb, if only for numbers sake.. Cpu, a small bump in Mhz and some other minor details, nothing to brag about really. But far from "non-important" stuff. I believe 2.5Ghz quad is like the 2 gigs of ram, in translation: quite enough for 99% of customers... Camera, it seems to be an upgrade, the only one really, if you look at the whole package objectivelly... But no point in speculation at this moment, we need to see some real life tests and samples to give an honest verdict... Design? Mehh.. Good ol' zamzung boring design, with that iritating phisical home button.. I'd really like to see a change in this area, something like 3 capacitive buttons with adjustable brightness and color so users can personalize their phones to their desires or personalities... Build quality. I don't mind the plastic that much, strictly speaking it's not exactly ordinary plastic, but anyway i'd like to see more Lumia-like poly-carb cases. If you ask me, that is the ultimate material for mobile devices till this day! Ppl who demand aluminium have little or no idea about Al and it's interaction with real-life objects and situations. I do, believe me (i work as a cnc machinist). Anyway, those phones end up in cases, so the precious metal doesn't get scratched, duhh... Build quality itself shoud be much better now, because of the IP67 obviously, so no squeeking or cracking of the battery lid like on my s3. That's good. Battery? Hmm, not really amazed here.. 2800mah just doesn't quite cut it in todays world. Not with a power-hungry phone with a 2.5Ghz quad, a bloated Rom and a bunch od sensors working all the time. I believe this is the only area where big companies like Sammy should leap forward and try to use those new technologies which btw are available. No "power-saving mode" will ever replace the capacity in a battery. I simply want a great user experience from the moment i unplug my charged phone till that last 5%. But i want that feeling to last at least 2 days. Srry for this huge post guys, i just had to :)
