The 7-month old LG G2 has a 5.2 inch screen,7% larger capacity battery, optical image stabilization and the same Snapdragon 800 chipset, plus FM Radio and infrared remote. And all this while being 4mm shorter and 2mm narrower.
Galaxy S5 is dead on arrival, unfortunately.
Why do I need water proofing ? To check a marketing box ? How many times per day do I use this "feature" that increases the phone size and weight every time I handle it ?

Its funy, and very poor,
This is 99% the same as galaxy s4,
and 80% the same as my old Galaxy S3 I9305 LTE
with 2gb ram memory, phone from 2012 year !
I like Samsung but galaxy S5 together with galaxy S5
is VERY BAD, and very simular with Galaxy S3 I9305 with 2gb ram memory.

better off with nokia 1520 series -why ?.. 6 inches - 20megapixel camera ..refocus lense ..global off line full navigation licence ..city lense .. cost similar to s4 -cheaper than projected s5 cost ..s5 is similar to s4 .MICROSOFT- please reduce cost of 1520 series -shall sell like hotcakes .. s5 shall soon show poor new sales

Yea, sooner some people jump ship to Sony and Lg the better, so we can then hear in 3 months time how great their phones are going, much like HTC. If Samsung came out with a phone that wiped ya ass, and made Cappacino people would still say it lacked innovation. Its a phone peoples, and until u have held one in ya hands then those who are so readily wanting to bag the crap outta it should just shut up. I for one will get one, and it will be 12 months before any other fone even comes close to the S5. Nothing worse than couch critics.

Yes does not have 3GB of ram and 2K display but samsung use some feature for real life.best battery power with Ultra Power Saving mode.if your phone has 10% battery charge and if using Ultra power saving mode your phone still standby for 24 hours and its the best for person that always in travel.
Fit software in best range.
0.3 sec Auto focus is the best and first for smartphones.
only the body and back cover is not so good.

I do not understand how a big company can degrade a product... The Galaxy S3 back is perfectly easy do clean. The Note 3 and S5 back is hard to clean. :(

Had an s3 and s4 but not planning to get an s5 for several reasons, I think that samsung is starting to copy the path of iphone by not caring about specifications instead they care about Features.
1.The phone screen is not 2k & ppi is lower than the s4 and only 0.1 inch larger, the s5 size is to big for that.
2. No image stabilization
3. 32 bit snapdragon800 ( that I have on my note 3 )
4. The heart rate sensor is useless on a mobile phone, it is useful on wrist bands and watches ( imagine your self Riding a bike or jogging and Keeping your phone in your hands.
5. Who of us will use LTE data and Wi-Fi at the same time honestly ? 0.1%
6. 2800mah battery which is 7% better than s4 but lets not forget 0.1 inch larger screen which needs 2% more percent so that's a 5% improvement in battery life only.
This is why am not going to get s5, I think I will wait for the note 4.
I think the s5 will be nice to people who have old phones and need a change not for those who change their phone every year, things that I love about S5 are:
New colors, nice camera with slow motion and quick focus, a very good thinking of making the phone water proof, making the phone brighter on sun light and dimmer at night is a Useful Feature.

This was not expected poor design & will not stand out from phone crowd. Galaxy S4 and Note 3 design wise still better.
On the other hand some features seems to be good but nothing that special apart from Heart-rate monitor.
Thanks Samsung but I'd be looking out for Galaxy S6 and Note 4

Hahahahaaa Samsung such fail with their Exynos ''bullcandy''.It's a good thing they're back to Qualcomm.Heart rate is useless
