i'm a samsung fan but this is katastrof phone i ever seen yet , in 2014 samsung have the same shape and the same design like in 2010 , this is bad ...

This is such a disappointment.
- It has 2GB vs 3GB or more RAM.
- Its battery is only 200 mAh upgraded.
- It's still using the same old design from S3.
(S4 was still acceptable but really S5?)
- No premium feel like HTC one.
... I think I'll wait for the new HTC one or buy the already 'better' (or at least same performing) & cheaper note 3.

haha samsung is yet again releasing an ugly plastic phone in modern time 2014 !!!!!! haha why would someone buy this plastic phone and pay almost 600-700 euro? Take a look at Sony Z2 and next HTC One2.. Eaven a cheap chinese phone manufacture make much better and "premium look" phone than Samsung, for exampel Huawei, Xiaomi. Still don't understand why it is the biggest phone manufacture in the World?? wierd!! Peopel are buying a plastic low end phone with bunch of feature but all they are using is web browsing, camera, Facebook.

I don't know why you would need 3GB of RAM because maybe they have higher frequency and if they are faster... And the kit kat should use less RAM than jelly bean, neither first version of SIII had 2 GB of RAM until the 4G version or dual core version,

I really wasted my time to see the live stream...How can tell that it is a flagship? It is less than Note 3. We lost our faith on Samsung...really unhappy...

Lesser sales than s4 guaranteed.. even dey werent keen on showing the front.. dey knw its a design blunder... seriously disappointed!!.. s4 was better looking.. dis looks like a grand frm front n bck also is not gr8... poor design.. my note 3 iz gonna b wid me now atleast till a note 4 if tat dsnt carry dis sad design!!.. poor!!

I am disappointed too. I expected a whole new design, a 5.2 inch screen, 32/64 GB of internal storage(a 128 GB micro SDXC is expensive!), and I expected at least a 3000 mAh battery, and again no radio. Ugh. :P

It is incredible but Samsung S5 is unde Z1 and under Z1 compact.
