    s5 received Android 6.0.1 update today in Italy http://androidtickers.com/2016/04/26/android-6-0-1-marshmallow-update-galaxy-s5-released-samsung-itly/
    The update includes
    Google Now on Tap and Doze
    in addition to a multitude of additional bug fixes
    stability improvements
    speed optimizations.

        Hope this is helpful for someone.
        I got OTA update of my S5 (SM-G900F). It was 849.30 MB in volume, Android 6.0.1. After download, it was not able to install. All time it shows as "failed to install".
        I have factory reset my mobile and the installation took place without issue.

          Yes I got on 21st April.

                              Hey i just now brought samsung s5 . When i have put the phone on charging it has started over heating . Is it normal for s5 ... or there is problem in my set

                                    When i try to update my s5 it shows error. Says "Unable to update software. A network or server error occurred. Try again later or go to Samsung kies on your pc to update your device." my phone is not rooted. And i have tried to update via different network and different wifi but results is always same. Same problem with security updates. As my phone is not updated since long. (Last update that was successfully installed on my phone is lollipop)

                                    What should I do??? Very embarrassing

                                      Good morning , I have an S5 SM- G900V with Android 4.4.2 on Verizon.
                                      When I turn it off or reboot shows the following:
                                      Could not activate the phone
                                      The SIM card is from an unknown source . "It shows in the top bar of the screen the logo of the SIM card with a question mark ." - That solves entering application information , Force Quit , OK. - But again it goes when you restart or shut down.

                                      The other drawback is that it leaves me check my voicemail , he says:
                                      Connection problem or invalid MMI code.
