I can tell you in all honesty that when I am concentrating on screen content I am totally oblivious of the punch hole. I was initially apprehensive but now I am completely unaware of it.

Hate to see people make issues about great innovations. You wanted full screen phones it come now you complaining about where the selfie camera is placed which is the best thing they have ever done. i have no issues with it and its easily worked around. so good luck with keeping your s8 till 2030

I switched to the S8 Plus from the S6 Edge 3 years ago. Hopefully the S8 Plus will suffice until they stop churning out screens with punchholes and notches.

The Battery is still Perfect i get 7-8 hrs SOT on 50 percent of Brightness

The S10 in comparison, they say its like night & day. Way better batterylife on S10

but you can try battery calibration use your phone till 0 percent and then keep it off and charge it to 100 percent repeat it 2 times maybe this helps

First, there is almost no change to the successor of this phone.
Secondly, this phone has really got a good display and good battery life.
So save your hard earned money or better buy a good Bluetooth headphone as audio quality of this phone is really awesome. I am using Sony ABN MDR-100 and trust me I started loving music again.

It really depends what you are doing with your phone within those 3 hours and how the phone is set up which would determine whether 3 hours was normal.
