Anonymous, 11 Jan 2020Is this code do any harm to the battery? i am just askingThe code itself wont do any harm to the battery. When you enter the code you will recieve information in relation to the battery, its ONLY when and if you select the 'quick start' option at the bottom of the screen that you could make changes.

The truth is, I dont know exactly what it does and there is conflicting information as to exacly what it does, so for that reason I can't say whether you should press the option 'quick start' .... but what I can tell you, is that simply dialling the code will not cause any harm to the battery, as i said it will give you info relating to the battery.

I did find this from someone that claimed that they had worked for Samsung and that pressing the 'quick start' option will help you with calibration when following all of their instructions but it's all bit vague for my liking.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2020I am a normal user but my battery is draining very fast can... moreI've tried that in the past but noticed no change. That's not to say that you shouldn't try it as you may notice a difference....

I had an issue where the battery was draining extremely fast. The battery would go from 20% down to 0 in a couple of minutes.

This is what I found and tried and it did rectify the problem.

                                    1) Discharge your phone fully until it turns itself off.
                                    2) Try Turning it on again and let it turn itself off. (It may not turn on but that's ok, you are just ensuring that there is no charge left in the battery)
                                    3) Plug your phone into a charger and, without turning it on, let it charge until the on-screen or LED indicator says 100 percent.
                                    4) Unplug your charger.
                                    5) Turn your phone on.

Then I repeated the above process again.

But to say I used to get 8 hours and now I'm getting 6 hours doesn't help really without analysing your usage daily (and monitoring your network signal from day to day) as most of us dont use our phones in exactly the same way each day and conditions change also, rarely are conditions exactly the same (E.g Network, use of Wifi or mobile data, Downloads in the background via Synching etc) If you are on the move throughout the day then this will also affect the battery too......the list is endless so it's very hard to determine the root cause....and it could be natural degradion of the battery in the end but I would start with asking yourself What's going on in the background? Am I doing anything differently? (E.g Using new apps, playing games for longer?) Is there an Issue with my network signal? Or am I constantly on the move with Wifi on? How old is the battery, could that be the cause? ..... just keep eliminating any possible cause.
