This phone is very good. I've bought a new one in february and still rocks. No lags at all, camera is wonderful, battery life too. If you can afford buy it. You won't regret.

As regards to lag my experience is such that I have came to the conclusion that these stories of lag are completely blown out all proportion and are not a true reflection of how the S8 or the S8's perform from day today. Much of it is all crap.
In short- Don't believe everything you read.

Hi,
I'm planning to buy a galaxy s10 next year. I have never used a Samsung phone before. I was about to buy iPhone XS max last month but after knowing about the S10 I thought of trying it out.
So my question to all the Samsung users is that how much is the longevity of Samsung smartphones? When do the issues like battery degradation, laggy performance etc start to occur? and when does the phone totally feels outdated? with iPhones I know if I get the latest one now, I won't have to worry for at least 3 yrs. What about Samsung?
I do not want to change the phone for at least 2.5 to 3 years. Should I go for S10?

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus since September 2019 and I am highly satisfied with this. How can I upgrade my operating system 7.0 (Nougat) to 8.0 (Oreo). When I search update it shows already updated, but it's 7.0 not 8.0.

I have a very bad experience with Samsung Galaxy S8+.
I and all the people around me having S8 or S8+ doesn't receive notifications about new emails in Gmail and it's Email app (I think both are Gmail). That is my main problem. I have others too. Not few, but that is most important.
Will not buy Samsung anymore.

There's only little difference between the 2. Just buy the Mate 10 Pro & be happy!

S8 Plus is almost $400.
Mate 10 Pro in Midnight Blue is also the sexiest handset. Also have more ram, rom, dual camera. Graphics quality is almost the same with minor difference because of FHD+ resolution in Mate 10 Pro. Actually I'm confused between Mate 10 Pro and S8 Plus.

Choose the phone u find more beautiful & comfortable to hold & use. The screen colors can be adjusted & they're both pretty similar.
The S8 plus is one of the best & sexiest phones I've used.
