Received December security update in Germany. Battery drain issues from November update seem to be stabilized. would get a better idea on battery endurance over the next 1-2 weeks.

I purchased this phone on Nov 2018, after proper use of 2 years and with recent software update I faced the below issue.
"Moisture has been detected, unplug"
I have googled and tried all the option, but at last the authorized service center said the issue is with type c port and should be replaced. I don't have any option and while replacing they said they have observed the battery bulging problem..
My doubt is all because of software update????????

Battery life goes from 15%-0% in just about 2-3 minutes, like a countdown timer. Crazy.
This occurred multiple times already after this update. Not the case at all before the update.
Overall battery drain from 100% to about 15% is similar to what it was before update

Got the November update for the 2nd time today. Updated and the battery died post restart from 30% to 0 in just about 10 minutes. Hope it is just one time occurrence.

you will get 3 major updates (up to Android 13)
As you know, you will not get any future updates for S9 series (Android 10 last update)

By dialing you will find a hardware checkup menu which pre-installed in every Samsung smartphones.
