Farscape1 , 20 Apr 2020April security update out Can you help me with one thing please? I've been looking at this tablet but found no headphones jack pretty annoying. Apparently with the newest update there is an option for pairing two Bluetooth headphones at once in Bluetooth settings. Can't find any picture confirmation of this, could you check if your tablet have this option please?

Color shift upon tilting is actually for me, a more annoying issue but which you can correct/improve with color adjustments. Ipad is not better. I'll never replace software update support with a suffocating iOS/iPadOS experience not to mention severe lack of options - micro sd expansion, better wider aspect ratio amoled screen for media consumption (photod/movies - thr main reason for the big screen), excellent compatibility with smart TV's and PC's and external devices.

        The portrait mode jelly scrolling is pretty bad and we still didn't get Android 10. Security update is also still on january. iPad would have been a better choice especially because of security. An AMOLED display is not everything Samsung...

It has connectivit... moreThe screen is supposed to switch off if tablet is not playing a movie or if it doesn't detect any touchscreen input. But it should not disconnect from mobile data or wifi if it is actively downloading something. If wifi is idle, it can be set to turn off AUTOMATICALLY but you can change it in the settings to never turn off automatically even when its idle. Check your power management settings. Aggressive power saving options may cause you to experience such things. If not, have your tablet replaced or return it for a refund.

              Extremely disappointed with this tablet. It has connectivity issues and switches the screen off regularly. It has a watching recognition setting that doesn’t work in the dark or it switches off after 15 minutes max. Has turned me off buying Samsung products.

If there's anything I notice on my tab S5e, it's the amoled color uniformity/color shift upon tilting. A tab S6 unit I saw had way better amoled panel uniformity so I suppose Samsung saved the best amoled panels for the tab S6 and sent the less uniforn ones to the cheaper tab S5e. Good thing the color adjustments I made to the display settings made the non-uniformity less visible.

But really, which 10"+ or bigger Xiaomi flagship tablet provides a high resolution enough screen - 2560x1600 resolution or higher that will display photos and play movies in glorious high definition? Also, which Xiaomi tablet provides Dolby Atmos surround sound for that immersive sound movie viewing experience? More important is, how would the average user even watch Netflix on a Xiaomi tablet in high definition when it has no Widevine L1 certification and no Google Playstore in addition to already having a low screen resolution?

                    Enjoy the Xiaomi for its affordable price while providing good specs for the low price but for that glorious high resolution photo and high definition movie viewing experience? I'm afraid to say the Xiaomi is sorely lacking that's why I bought this tablet. Why not the iPad PRO then? Because its an inutile tablet with limited storage, (no micro sd card storage for offline downloads), a squarish screen and an outrageous price. I would only buy an iPad Pro if my main objective was to impress people I'm rich and privileged and have fine taste for things 'expensive'. Why else do you think people order caviar and truffles in a restaurant menu? Because ultra expensive fish eggs and outrageously priced exotic fungi tastes better and fills the stomach better than regular restaurant food?

Apple tends to make stupid labels to its devices to justify obscene prices. Calling phones and tablets as 'pro' like the way the Apple named the ipad 'pro' are marketing gimmicks meant mainly to sell stuff and deceive buyers who are not really PROs themselves but would like to be associated with them. That's marketing 101 if you didn't know already. It's like calling a top of the line laptop with top of the line processor, video graphics card and monitor specs as 'PRO' laptop when it's more aptly called a 'gaming' laptop because people who use them and buy them mostly did so because they are gaming fans.

                      You want real productivity in an ultra portable package? Get a Windows convertible laptop with keyboard and mouse. You just want to type Microsoft office documents on the go? A keyboard and mouse accessory for this and other midrange tablet will make you do things way much faster than a pen or stylus. You're a graphic artist? A Wacom Cintiq is a way much better investment. You want all around usability (movies, music, photos, gaming, unlimited storage, typing Microsoft documents)? This will do all those stuff for so much less. Want gaming power or use graphics intensive programs? Get a real gaming laptop! Want to impress your friends with processor benchmark figures and worthless Apple pencil even if you don't know how to type and draw? Buy an iPad PRO. That would make them think you really are a 'PRO' but really, who are you fooling with the 'PRO' label. A real pro can do wonders even on low end devices. 'Pretend PRO's' buy things labeled 'PRO' like the iPad pro and only use them for Facebook, photos and movies/media.

                        You'd be fooling yourself if you think you can get a pro tablet at this price point, if you need pro functions you should either go for the S6 or iPad pro models. At this price I think iPads are better for reading and gaming ( since they usually come with a better chip sett), but if your priority is watching movies and tv shows, I think the 4:3 aspect ratio in the normal iPads is a deal breaker, watching an 18:9 tv show or a 21:9 movie on a 16:10 screen already needs some "getting used to", on a 4:3 it's just crazy.

                          I don't understand why Samsung sell tablet and smartphone as expensive ? Apple so expensive 1st Samsung 2st. Budget smartphone or tablet camera very bad , when broken display change it so expensive and pricy in poor country.Xiaomi is very good alot of product is good than Samsung

Writing without palm rejection aka w... moreNo amount of explanation will convince an ipad fanatic like you that an android tablet can work well with even just an ordinary $1 stylus because you are proud of your overpriced, disposable Apple pencil that don't work with newer ipads. And you reject all Android alternatives which make you accomplish more for so much less like using s $4 android keyboard instead with mouse, which is plug and play with ALL ANDROID devices, wired or bluetooth, but which your dumb iPad with jurassic iPad OS or iOS is just starting to incorporate in beta software that is still as clunky as hell.

My goodness! buy a cheap $1 stylus and download any note taking app from the Playstore that converts handwritten notes to text. There's plenty! No need for S-PEN functionality. It works with all Android devices, not just tablets. Now if you want real productivity, buy a cheap $4 android bluetooth keyboard accessory. You'll take notes and type faster that way! Way faster than your overpriced ipad with overpriced one-use Apple pencil can ever imagine!

Again, all Apple Tablets have this feature + 5 years update , even the least expensive one. Samsung wants 300 bucks more for a simple pen feature. The Apple pencil is expensive but has a quality feel to it, can't say the same about the plasticky S4 and S6 pens.

                                  Better pay 700 bucks for an iPad pro than the s6!!

Pen support sho... morePlease don't compare the one-trick pony ipad with this multi functional, multi-featured tablet. If you want pen support, get the higher model Galaxy tab S6. But if you really are into serious drawing, get a Wacom Cintiq. Now if you want a mediocre drawing experience but want to impress your friends, get an ipad because that's what the iPad is only good at: impressing friends with an outrageously overpriced apple pencil that becomes unusable after a new ipad model is released.

Maybe some wifi only units have wifi problems but it's really a non issue unless your home or area has very weak wifi router and you can't get nearer it. I have no issues with YouTube. Maybe you need to update your tab S5e's software and all apps (especially Google play services and playstore). Also check if you disabled or denied too many app permissions essential for YouTube and Google Pla store and Google Play services to function properly.
