Findecano, 31 Jul 2022Why have Samsung given the 5G version such a poorer CPU? It... moreNo idea. But I have been enjoying my two Wi-fi versions. Easily better than my two, 2020, Tab S6 Lite Tablets.

I was able to pick up my two Tab S7 FE tablets at Best Buy, an hour after ordering them from Samsung. Now I just need to wipe my Tab S6 Lite tablets to ship them to Samsung. So I can get my $250 trade in for each one.

For only $192 after taxes and trade in, the Tab S7 FE wi-fi version was easily worth it.

    Why have Samsung given the 5G version such a poorer CPU? It really makes no sense at all!

      I just ordered two of these directly through Samsung. I had originally looked at the wrong Tab A model they had for a trade in of $200. So I just decided to trade in my two Tab S6 lite tablets. Since they had $100 of extra trade in value for $250 toward the Tab S7 FE. Heck, that trade in value is more than I paid for S6 lites in 2020. (after trading in my 2013 Google Nexus tablets for $100)

      Plus Samsung had four years no interest. So with the Tab S7 FE sale price and my $250 trade in credit, after taxes it's only $4 a month for each S7 FE, over 48 months. Plus I'm supposed to be able to pick them up at a local Best Buy. Instead of having to wait a month for Samsung to ship them to me.

      Now I just need to order a couple of cases from Amazon. I will get a case like I have for my S6 Lite tablets. That has a soft TPU case around the tablet, and a hard cover. Plus a spot to store the S-Pen in the case.

        Can the Tab A7 FE handle HEVC content like my Tab s6 lite tablets can? My A7 tablets cannot. Which if part of the reason I'm looking to upgrade them. Plus a larger screen would be nice.

I was looking at getting several of these and trading in my three Tab A7 tablets with the Samsung $200 trade. Those only ha e 3GB of ram. And just like my two Tab S6 Lite tablets, with 4GB of ram, my A7 tablets have zero issues with a dozen tabs open in chrome. So did something change in the last t2omyears to now cause issues with the ram?

Although works SUPER well (beyond expectations, a lot) while playing games. 4GB is not enough on android compared to iOS 4 is like 8gb.

I do notice it being slow to load things often and would close background apps on its own even when I was only away for a minute to preserve ram. I would definitely go for higher ram.

                              Also make sure you're buying the wifi-model for the better Snapdragon 778g SoC rather than the 5g Snapdragon 750g.

                                Hi Everyone,
                                I am planning on buying this tablet and am confused between 4/64 gb or 6/128gb. 6gb ram variant is 100 Dollars more expensive and since I can put an SD card in the tablet so I only care about the more ram that it offers. Anyone having this tablet with Android 12 (RAM Plus feature enabled), can you tell me if the RAM plus allows the 4gb version to perform well or should I go for the 6gb version.
