Xiaomi did better job using amoled the white is pure white as a4 paper while samsung white is quite milky/yellowish..i compared sisde by side at store and my cheap poco f3 display is far better accurate than s23 ultra in terms of saturation(turning vivid or adjusting the rgb would not work). no reviewers did mentioned about this all they said is samsung is the greatest display..(infact color accuracy seems washed out)..check the forum many complains about the s23 ultra about the washed out display

                Regular Tab S8 is better for reading because it can display perfect white and doesn't have the screen PWM present in AMOLED which can cause headache for some people

                      The SoC is certainly capable of it. Because my Galaxy S22 has 60fps options for all those resolutions.

                      But, from what I just read, Samsung doesn't enable 60fps video recording with their tablets.

                      I guess it's just another spec that has never been corrected by gsmarena.

                      But, then the camera lenses on the tablets are not the best anyway. They would be a last resort device for me to take a picture or video with.

                          But my phone is android and my laptop is windows
                          I would have some issues for file transferring and many other things.
                          Also I live in Iran and we have many limitation with Apple and iOS
                          In addition , with my budget i can buy 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 wifi 128 + Apple pencile that used for 3years instead of unpacked galaxy s8 plus 5g!
                          Do you still suggest iPad for me?

                                Dr.Rsl, 22 Jan 2023Hello everyone , I can't choose between S8 and S8+ I ... moreI use a S8 it's amazing, i use it for work, reading and now netflix casual games (i have a tab10 for home use, then used a S6 lite prior to the S8, s6 lite is nice , but not on par with the S8).
                                Something bigger than the S8 would weight a little too much for me.
                                For daily use, multi tasking and reading and note taking the S8 has the best for factor.

                                PS: And oled screens from samsung tend to become greenish with time (search note 9 green tint screen) the s8+ ans ultra are oled, the S8 is lcd. I find lcd the best in durability and the color quality is top notch too.

                                  Hello everyone , I can't choose between S8 and S8+
                                  I am a Veterinarian and I want to choose the tab for reading pdf and e-books , note taking , some multitasking (for example studying a pdf file and taking note simultaneously) and also use my tab at work for writing the informations of each client (instead of traditional paperworks!)
                                  I know that the bigger screen size of S8+ can be better , but I'm worried about portability! is S8+ too big for my usage?
                                  (I have very big hands!)
                                  What's your opinion? Which one should I choose?

                                    Even if I could get an Apple tablet for free, I would not use it. I would rather pay for a Samsung Tablet that I would enjoy using. Then get a free Apple tablet that I would dislike using.

                                    The last time I used an Apple tablet, it was a terrible experience. The only worse experience I had was when I had an Apple phone from work. A couple of weeks later I turned it in and switched to using my personal phone for work instead. A Galaxy S phone.
