In contacts move them to Samsung account in your phone and tablet. And in settings - connections turn on calls and texts on any device. It's a good feature to have.

Was there an actual announcement for the 12GB of ram version? I can't find any articles about it anywhere. Please post a link if you have it in browser history or something.

I don't believe the 12GB RAM version actually exists. I've been looking to buy it for a week and only see it at places like eBay listings and small stores that probably copied the info from this page. In particular I've been unable to find any MPNs for the 12GB version, every MPN I've found with 256GB of storage has 8 GB of RAM.
Really disappointing, because I've given up on the still China-only (with broken ROM and no GPS) Lenovo Y700, so beside two brands I'll never buy (Apple and Huawei), this seemed to be the smallest tablet listed with more than 8GB of ram and GPS.

Evil crash bandicoot, 22 Aug 2022Why tft lcd !? Tap 6 was super OLED The TFT LCD is high quality and should look just like AMOLED. And it doesn't degrade as fast as AMOLED.

But tab s8 is far better. I have wifi model but can call or text with it which is good. It fast in performance is good. Display is good. And like s5e has 4 speakers which is good for watching movies , listening to music etc. I'm very happy with s8:)

Yes this tab I use a lot, couldn't afford the bigger ones so went for this as I had the s5e and the s7 which I passed on to a family member. I really like this tab. Got the update the other day 4.1 and August security update like that also. Got the LTE 5G model 256gb it on a Tesco p/go sim it is excellent apart no 5g where I live. I traded the ipad mini in for this and that was a expensive failure that tab, and this was a great compromise, so in the next few years I shall go samsung tab all the way 👍 recommended this device is 👍

Tap 6 was super OLED Take note that the OLED version consumes more battery than the TFT version (unless your screen is mostly black, while watching a dark movie). Next to that OLED suffers from burn-in, which is not good for relatively static content (toolbars, statusbars, HUD, logo's).

The specs along with the size and looks are all incredible.. Specs are overkill though.

Had the s7 passed that on to a family member, now after using the s8 tab for almost a month this is an absolute great tab. I wish I had never bought the ipad mini , now gone as a trade in against the S8, the S7 was good this S8 better 👍
